Description
The game I imagined was the character running away from their past in the Forest of Forgotten Memories - although they eventually find their past once more!

Nostalgia - Title

Nothing as it Seems - Forest

Quarrel in the Brush - Forest Fight

Broken Tents - Abandoned Goblin Village

Jirk, the Goblin Brother - the Male goblin twin, an insane pyromaniac who loves chaos. That turns out to be his downfall.

Gax, the Goblin Sister - the Female goblin twin. She's studious, and although she doesn't show it, she loves Jax.

Memories Hidden Away - Cave

Quarrel in the Rocks - Cave Battle

Respite - Area Before Final Boss

Your Inner Demons - The final boss, the spirit of the forest. He represents the character's past, and eventually the player overcomes their past and gets over it. They come to accept it.

Jirk, You Brave Fool... - Jirk jumps in to assist the player in their battle and blows himself and the boss up. This plays after the fact, and there is a closeup of Jirk's lifeless body with Gax grieving at his side.

The End - Roll Credits

Great soundtrack actually. I wish you had added a streaming link. I almost skipped over it and I'm glad I didn't. I particularly liked the forest battle theme. neat job!

Your soundtrack was especially well thought out and the composition was excellent. I really enjoyed listening to it, great work!

I love how you were able to use motifs throughout your songs, and it's impressive you were able to make so many songs by yourself. You were able to capture all the different momentums of the different parts of a game. I personally like how multiple of your songs had a very scary sort of vibe. Very impressive.

Firstly what a great background story for the game! I enjoyed the variety of styles that the soundtrack encompassed, which kept things interesting throughout. I particularly enjoyed "Jirk, the Goblin Brother" which almost had a Madness-type ska vibe. Nice work.

Nice job! My favourite part is how much personality the goblin tracks have. I like the crunchy drums and swingy melody in Jirk's theme, he seems like a fun character XD

big fan of how you use the motifs in the soundtrack

it really ties everything together

I'll start by saying I'll always have the utmost respect for someone composing with LMMS. The DAW can be finicky at times (to say the least) but it also has awesome built-in synths. I must say that you managed to get the most out of it with these retro inspired tracks. You've got a full story there. I can only insist that you add a streaming link, people might pass by your work by sheer laziness.

Good job. You made a lot of tracks, but there is a good bit of variety in styles and instrumentation which help keep things unique. The compositions are also quite good, and I'm a sucker for battle themes that use their overworld counterparts as a base. Nice work!
