Description
Created for a puzzle-platformer game where the main character must journey deep into a mysterious forest to escape from those who are hunting them.

The tracks were made using various hardware synths/FX that were sequenced and recorded with Renoise.

How does it fit the theme?
The tracks were created with the image of someone escaping into a mysterious forest in mind.
Non-functional harmonies are used to create a sense of mystery and there is a descending sequence used in both tracks to represent the action of running away.

Edge of the Forest - Getting an immediate JRPG vibe from this one for some reason. I'm just picturing a nice top down map with a lot of green. Nothing bad seems to have happened yet and everything is still nice. Love the instrument with the glide. What is it with trackers and completely nailing glide? Also quite like that it seems to have some nice vibrato on it. Also love that right after, we get some interesting variations on the progression with some soothing drums and bass. Very nice this track.
Leaves And Shadows - Nice! Immediately kicks off with a very whimsical and cool bassline. Nice pads to follow.
