Description
I'm No Hero is a story about a young villager, living an ordinary life. While others chase fame and glory, battling fantastical beasts and looting treasure, Klum only wanted food on the table and a comfy bed to sleep in.
Unfortunately for Klum, we're not the masters of our own fate, as one day a great evil passes through, attacking Klum's home village. This is the beginning of the tale of a great hero. But Klum is no hero. Corned by a great threat, there's but one reasonable decision to make - Running away. Regardless of Klum's decision, life will never be the same, and adventure is inevitable in the search of a new home.
I'm No Hero is a 3D adventure exploration game, where you travel across the world of Iaaru, in search of a new home, constantly escaping the creeping evil that plagues this land. Why does this evil seemingly follow you wherever you go? Will you ever find a place to call home? Do you keep running from the darkness that hounds you, or will you eventually stand to face it... or is it already too late?
This OST was composed by Water Duck and Raxxo, and is an orchestral, epical piece
Message from the artist:
Hello!
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The songs follow mostly the story, so if you read the description of the story, you can piece together the context of the tracks. All of tracks currently mostly depict the beginning and the actual running away part, followed by an aftermatch track, followed by the actual exploration of a new place.

I really love the impression and emotions I'm getting from this. Each piece sets a very clear image and scene in my mind. Awesome work.
Beginnings of Change - Great opening. Pretty calm until the end, when clearly something bad happens. Something about the ending reminded me of Ori and the Blind Forest.
Evil Strikes - Oh yes, now we're picking up the pace. I quite like this. Love the percussion and ominous melodies. I also really like the punctuation with choir hits.
Time To Leave! - Nice work.
A Fantastical Escape - Oh I love this. I feel this is really galvanizing. If this played while I was playing a game, I would move to the front of my seat and play just a little extra intensely. Something about the feel of this reminds me a little bit of some of the tracks in Trine. Definitely getting a bit of a fairytale vibe from the sound. Surely, we're rescuing someone at this point. I think this kind of music can really carry a game from good to great. The energy is palpable.
Leave The Past Behind - Nice quiet opening with the vocal. This again, makes me think a bit of Ori.
New Place - Oh I love this one. Back to the Trine vibes on this one. Love the cymbal crashes. And I adore those "plucks", where a few notes are played in rapid succession. That is just fabulous.
I went in blind when I listened to the music for the first time. For some reason, the pacing and feel of the tracks made me think of a beautiful platformer.
Outstanding work! My personal favourites were probably Fantastical Escape and New Place, but the whole soundtrack was great.
You aren't joking when you describe the music as orchestral and epic! The tracks packed a punch in terms of reflecting flight and escape, but I was glad when we reached "Leave the Past Behind" where I felt I could finally stop and rest! (Incidentally, that was my favourite track of the set). Nice work.
Well done! Orchestration is great! Really big feel. The fantastical track was really nice!
every track has an unique feel, I like them all. Both composers made great tracks!
Awesome songs! it sounds like an epic fantasy movie sound track too
WOW! I really like this OST and many should also find this out! I really like the first track when the tone changes in the last part! I can really imagine Klum's village starting to be attacked!
Amazing soundtrack! It sounds like it could be performed by a real orchestra, and the vocals in "leave the past behind" were very well utilized
Agreed! I'd love to hear these played by a real orchestra - only way it could be better.
You broke my curve.
