Description
The last wish was composed mainly using Reaper (DAW). The track contains a major motif that appears in different genres ( Classical, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass). In order to tell the story of the water apocalypse and express the dangers associated with players' voyage tempo changes and water effects were utilized.

Message from the artist:
This soundtrack was designed for a hypothetical RPG adventure game where players visit different water worlds in order to find a sacred crow who will grant the last wish.

Theme:

Wish upon a star
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The year is 3000, 500 years after the great water apocalypse where the world was completely destroyed. Most major cities, like New York, London and Paris are miles underwater.

There are a few remaining human survivors who have formed twelve clans that act like governments. These clans are all trying to get to the mystical island where the sacred crow lives. The sacred crow has the power to grant one wish every 500 years.

One courageous boy by the name of Adin has been getting dreams about the world before the apocalypse and he would like to find the sacred crow to save the world.

Many have tried to solve the mystery by following the stars that lead the way at night but they were either eaten by dangerous sea creatures or killed by clan members.

The future of the world is in Adin鈥檚 hands.

Find the sacred crow by navigating the seas and destroying the twelve clans!

Good Luck!

This is great!!  I love all the different vibes you work your way through, and those super staccato piano arpeggios towards the end sound so cool.  Especially love how you mixed together live sounds with synths and outer-space-y effects.  well done!

Great job! I like the variety, the genre's are very different but there are compositional things that tie them together which is nice. Great work!

This is creative how you reimagined the same motif in 3 different genres. My favorite is the hip hop version in the middle. My favorite moment of the entire piece is at 1:39 with the low hit that sounds like the character was just plunged into the water. Thank you for sharing!

You switch between different styles effortlessly, and the theme you came up with comes is clearly recognizable each time. Excellent work!

That second section that comes in at 1:16 was unexpected but really enjoyable! Overall, really interesting and well done!

Love the chromatic downwards run in the bass, in the middle of the track. Really makes the groove pop for me. This is a pretty creative track. Love the wishlike sections with the twinkling arpeggios. Nice work!

Its an odd mix of music, but it kind of works, its hard for me to imagine in what situation which part of the song would be used, but overall its pretty cool.

Thanks for your comment!  I really would like the game to have contrasting emotions based on the difficulty of navigation and the type of enemy being fought.

Love the vibes, however some of the instruments / samples don't really fit.

I just added some more information about the game so that it gives more context.
