Description
A blend of whale songs I arranged and cello and bell synths. I used Ableton Live 12 with mostly Lab VSTs and one track of sound design that I recorded myself.

How does it fit the theme?
I went for an ocean theme, with bubble and shake sounds to make the composition ethereal as possible.

thanks🙋👍
Interesting sounds, especially the use of that bubbles. It creates a dreamy atmosphere. A bit minimalistic, but I like it. Good job!
This was a very relaxing listen. Loved the sound design on this one, you nailed the under water vibe!
I would’ve liked to see some more variation/development throughout the piece, as it started to get a little stale by the end.
Great work!
Good work on the sounddesign and trying to reproduce this underwater feeling! That was appeasing to listen to
From what i've rated so far, this probably has the best vibes. The whale sounds were maybe a bit too loud at parts, but other than that, this would be fantastic music for some sort of adventure game under the sea. Stellar stuff!
A lovely piece, very evocative of the ocean deeps! Loved the whale song!
I liked the weird blip noises that went up and down
they were whale sounds, manipulated to certain notes. thanks
I do appreciate the amount of sound design that went into this. This was less of a composition and more of a soundscape, or maybe a blending of the two to be more accurate. I didn't appreciate the "pac-man" sounds. It kind of took me out of the moment. But overall it really made me feel like I was exploring in the depths of the ocean.
Thanks for your critical review of my work. I do have to say, however, that I live near the ocean in Massachusetts and the whales were making those sounds long before pac man. Best, Amy
That’s actually pretty awesome! I had no idea.
Subtlety is the key word I'd choose for this! Very interesting and explorative mix of sounds. I like how you've woven melodies and progressions in without having them sit at the forefront and drown out (no pun intended!) the background elements. Good work!
really wonderful mix. I like how the piano parts and flute parts work together with the percussion brought in underneath with just enough accents. It flows beautifully.
