Description
This is a Standalone piece intended to be used as an introduction to an exploration game in the likes of Journey. I composed it in the piano and then I arranged the orchestra ( Flute + String Quartet) using Sibellius.

Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I wanted to create a contrast of what an "Inside World" represents to me, withouth making it overly joyous or melancholic/sad/tragic, in order to reflect the day to day of a human being in a non-eventful moment of his life.

This submission is quite pretty, I like the use of the piano and flute together here. Nice work!
Love the cover art hahaha. Really magical piano section with those arpeggios and a very pretty flute theme. Instant RPG vibes. This is such a nice chord progression too, a joy to listen to. Thanks for sharing!
Really digging how unique your track sounds. The flute melody and the backing instruments create a kind of atmosphere that I really enjoy. Nice job :)

I really appreciate the variety in tones present in this one track. I wonder if, since this is an OST, they could have been seperate tracks instead, representing different areas or modes of the game? I also feel either the flute is a bit too loud or hits some unusual pitches, jolting me out of my chair at times.
Nonetheless, cool approach and I really like your photoshopped cover.
I loved the flute an the beginning with Bass!
It can be easy to lean heavily on one specific mood or tone for a prompt like this, and I think it was a good move to go for a more subtle emotion. It helps it stand out and sounds thoughtful because of it.
Hell yeeh... That was awesome! Pretty experimental work with a unique energy!
P.S. That flute made my day, heh)
I love the combination of the instruments with the main flute melody!!! As others said- at times the mix can get a little messy, but overall it is a very friendly and whimsical sounding song, with some equally intense and dramatic sections, especially the awesome climax at the end :)))
Very good job, I loved the reliance on orchestral instruments. My wife described the ending as very triumphant- like Beethoven - so you definitely did something right!!!
Good job!
Sometimes the mixing of all the instruments together made it sound really muffled like you are hearing it through a closed door. I think if you made the instruments have a clearer sound it would improve a lot.
Nice job! I really enjoyed the composition, but the mix was a bit hard to hear everything, especially during the flute melodies. But a great energy and I could feel the song telling a story!
Hi! thank you very much! Yeah I didn't really do any mixing, I'm in my mid-year exams period right now in college so I wasn't able to practice and do the mixing before the deadline, but hopefully I'll be free to do it once the month ends.
Really enjoyed the musical journey that this took me on! Great work being done here! What kind of game would this song be playing on?
Hi, thanks for your comment! I think of this as a main title piece for a game in the likes of Journey, a more contemplative a slow burn game. I'm not completely satisfied with the final result but I think it could work very well in the right context. I tried to "paint" (like they say in the History of Western music books) two versions of an "Inside World", one that is hopeful and looking forward to exploration, and a contrasting one reflecting the hazards and dark times of an odissey. Thanks again and i'm glad you enjoyed it!
