Description
Genres: Abstract, ambient, experimental. Falling is metal, deathcore inspired. The DAW I used is LMMS, and I added subtle fades and corrected the audio with Audacity

Message from the artist
I just hope you somewhat enjoy it!

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
I see "my world" as just things in my head like thoughts and feelings. Rethink is about rethinking choices, our world is about being with your loved ones and Falling is about feeling stress/being in stressful situations.

All three got together at the same time for me recently.

Very different and interesting approach. Sounding very nice, specially "Falling", that distorted bass/synth had a really great impact. Great work!

Developer

Thank you! I just wish I could have made a proper riff before the jam was over

I liked your submission and enjoyed listing to it. I think the ideas are there and you have the foundations built for the music. One critique I would offer is to vary the melody. 'Our World', for example, has a good melody that runs all the way through. And while it's good, it can begin to get a little stale. Changing up the melody or making a new one adds variety and keeps the listener engaged. Good submission!

Developer

Thank you! I will deffinitely try to improve with the feedback!

Going from Our World to Falling was a crazy switch up haha. I think this soundtrack emphasizes the serendipitous nature of the mind quite well. Good work!

Developer

Thank you! My mind has been all over the place lately so I tried adding everything I've been feeling into this.

I really enjoyed this soundtrack! The instrumentation feels very whimsy but still manages to keep me immersed and entertained. I loved the guitar present throughout the OST, and while I do think some tracks overstayed their welcome, I nonetheless enjoyed and can confidently say this deserves more ratings. Great job! :D

Developer

Thank you! About the tracks that overstayed their welcome: what could I do different?

I love the creativity of this soundtrack. I've been listening to Falling on loop, it is by far, the one of the best tracks I have listening to in this OST Jam. Great work!

Thank you so much! I actually expected it to be the less liked!

This soundtrack perfectly encapsulates me at 3:30 AM on caffeine.

Also, did you play the drums yourself? It definitely sounds like live drumming. If so, that's really cool haha.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I did not play them, as I don't own any instruments. I just kept retrying until I thought it sounded good enough to me. I pay good attention to the drums in songs I like to not overdo it
