Description
A Cubase-made soundtrack for a platformer adventure game.
I started with what is now called "Approaching", wanting it to sound like you were waking from a dream into an unfamiliar place, replacing the instrument VSTs with something more "digital sounding". From there I found a few motifs I wanted to use and incorporated them into more songs.
I had plans for more tracks, but I wasn't able to get them done in the time frame, but those would have used some of the other motifs I had in mind.

I hope you enjoy :)
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The track was made for a theoretical game about a character exploring a their dreams, a world of their own. With each track, especially the last two, I intended for the player to realize that this world was never actually theirs to begin with.

played "Behold the Nightmare" a couple times! my favorite of your entries ^_^
Loved the bass in all the tracks but my favorite was Behold the nightmare! It was super groovy!
Heh... I love when such powerful drums are used in
cutedynamic soundtracks...Well, I guess I'll repeat the same preferences as the other commentators... I liked Behind The Nightmare, heh) But I liked Inside My World no less! This track is like this... Crazy :)
nice cohesive soundtrack! “Behold The Nightmare” was my favorite!
I love it. Very dreamy and moving. Great sound track. I really like your style, good work. It fits the theme very well. Great artwork as well! Behold The Nightmare was my favorite song by far!
Love the trip!! I got me in the game, really enjoyable soundtrack. I really like the way you went in Behold The Nightmare with the strings and the synth. Really nice job!
Love the bell melody and piano rhythm in "Inside Your World". Very warm and "homey" tone. I generally enjoyed the high hat/click percussion, though aside from the few times it cut out I didn't notice any variation in it. But that's just being nit-pickey. Overall I really liked the song.
First impression of "Behold the Nightmare" is great. Wish the guitar melody was a little louder. Great impact when the organ comes in, though might want to watch the volume on the organ, kinda' drowns everything else out (particularly the woodwind at 1:22). Nice bass rhythm. In your description you mention this is intended for a platformer game, but I could see this song working well in a jrpg or arcadey jet fighter game as well.
"Approaching" starts with some neat bell arpeggios, but you may want to consider decrescendoing as the piano comes in so the piano isn't drowned out (especially since the piano is carrying the melody at that point). Very lovely as the bass comes in and I like that "beep boop, boop bop" sound. Very nice key changes around 2:37. Synth stabs towards the end are exciting and hint at a transition to the next song.
"Inside My World"'s acid bass provides some exciting intensity. The high pitched pad that fades in periodically provides some nice dissonance.
Cool use of the motifs! I like how, in 'Inside My World,' you can clearly hear the melody disappear into the contrasting digital sounds.
everything has a really nice groove to it that just sets into the pocket just right
Inside Your World and Behold the Nightmare are absolutely phenomenal! We need someone to throw them into a game already! I love the instrument choice and how well you blended them together. Forms a really solid vibe/theme for each of the tracks. ~ From a fellow Cubase enthusiast
