Description
The track I made runs 2 minutes and 10 seconds and it's genre would probably be electronic. The track itself would be used in a cyberpunk game around the player waking up and finding most of their missing organs replaced with robotic parts. The overall goal of the game is to retrieve them from various bosses(think mega man style) and this section would be when the player is looking for their heart.
I used Ableton 10 as my DAW and some of the sounds I used were from LABS and DSK Ethereal Pad Z. All of the other sounds were from Ableton's native library.
Message from the artist:
This is my first composing jam so I hope you like it!
How does it fit the theme?
I used some sounds that felt more analog and put on an overdrive filter to give it a robotic feeling. I also added in some beeps as tuned percussion. Additionally, the guitar that I used feels very gritty/hard which I feel really fits the cyberpunk theme.

This is a very chill track, and yet I think it communicates a sense of uncertainty and mystery, which fits with your story about waking up with organs replaced by robotic parts (that would be... unsettling, to say the least 😨... or would it be an improvement? 🤔). I think it would work in-game as you described, looping as the player attempts to piece together how they got there, perhaps as they're presented with some clues and world-building moments.
Nice use of choir elements along with classic synthesizer sounds. The mixing seems good and has enough variation to keep it interesting. I like that you added some filters and noise so it doesn't sound too "clean" and digital, which gels with the cyberpunk aesthetic.
Overall, this reads to me as a quietly confident piece that knows what is wants to be and executes on that vision, which is cool to see. Great job!
Nice BGM, probably can plays in loop for hours and still sounds fine ^_^. Good job.
Here we go! I'm imaging a title screen with this. It's scrolling. Really love those percussions, especially that tom-like blip. It reminds me of some 80s music. Ooh, nice chord change. Nice choirs seeping in. This really sounds like storytelling music. An opening to a game. An opening that has something to say about this world we are about to immerse ourselves in. Very pensive. Really like that plucky main melody. Oh no, it's over already. Would've loved some more. Didn't want to let go of that feeling yet.
Great mood. Nice mix. Nice synths. Nice melodies.
Well done.
Your track got a great mood! Really like the atmosphere, reminds me of an old crpg game ^^
Love the dark feel of this, I have a dystopian cyberpunk world in mind listening to it. Excellent work on the sound design of the synth, too.
The dark and moody atmosphere fits well with the game you're describing here, very nice!
I like the melancholy vibes!
Would have loved to hear more development in the melody, as well as some reverb on the lead synth to help blend it in with the rest of the track.
After all the intense tracks it's nice to find something peaceful. Well put together moody, introspective song. Reminds me of Cave Story - Geothermal (the Core). Also with robots!
Love this more ambient take on cyberpunk, you really built a dark soundscape. Great work!
Really great overall texture in the track with that mellow lead line!
super cool and moody ambiance, great stuff!
really enjoyed the sort of laid-back melancholy vibe of this one.
Very nice mood, good stuff!
I like the somber ambience with that pulsating synth beat. Calm and still distressing. Fits the genre nicely!
I really liked some of your synth sounds, and the overall vibe. I feel like the lead and synth layers could come forward just a bit to balance better with the pad and vocals, but it still was really good!
