Description
Stop and Go are two twin tracks, connected by their harmonic structure and some melodic elements, separated in style and mood. Stop is melancholic, atmospheric and somewhat mysterious. Go is energetic and upbeat, incorporating that typical cheesy 80s synth pop sound. I see this as two sides of one character who is torn between motivation and hopelessness, a personality split into day and night.

Artist comment:
As I had no time to actually plan something the result may be a pure representation of my two basic intuitions when it comes to making music from scratch.

Theme:

Two Worlds

How does it fit the theme?
Stop Or Go describes two very different moods/mindsets that are still deeply connected, relying on each other.

Cool tracks, I like how Stop and Go complement each other! Good work!

My favourite of the two tracks is Stop. You really nailed a tranquil, melancholic atmosphere with that track. The use of an accordion alongside the piano adds some nice depth to the track as well.

Stop: I love your instrument choice. The atmospheric echoey choir patch, the distant piano, the accordion, the ambient white noise – gosh I love it all and it works so well together! Your chord progression also feels unique and I felt invested the entire time.

Go: That bass keeps the whole thing driving! The cowbell is a great touch too. The energy feels so palpable in this track. I also really like the electric guitar interjections in the background. These two tracks are so different, yet they work so well together as a pair. Overall I’m a big fan of what you’ve created. Great work and thanks for sharing!

Y'know, I wasn't really sold on "Go" until that funky drum fill at 0:16, but now I'm hooked. Nice melodies, man! Earned yourself a follower.
