Hello, this is my entry for the OST Composing Jam Sandbox, and also my first OST Jam entry! I am still a novice when it comes to music production and only had time for one song, so I approached the palindrome prompt by working with a mix of reversed / mirrored MIDI progressions and reversed sounds like pads and kick drums. I started with a mirrored arpeggio and a drum loop and built out a fast-paced electronic song from there.
I imagined the game "Mirror Dash" as some sort of horizontal endless runner where you can flip into a mirror world - if I had more time or this was fleshed out into a dynamic soundtrack, I think it'd be neat to have the soundtrack reverse or distort based on the side of the floor you switch to!
Difficulty
Make something that has elements that can be listened to both backwards and forwards.

This is super cool, like I'm flying through portal after portal in some crazy chase. or I guess in this case jumping through mirrors. It gave me the same feeling as when I played Sayonara Wildhearts. It's Really awesome!

Dude, this entire track is tight! I was transported to games like Geometry Dash for instance, the idea was conveyed super well and I loved the arpeggiation of the moving parts, it definitely fit the theme! Excited to hear more from you in the future
