Message from the artist
The idea behind this piece, is that the chords and structure are mirrored, to convey the story of this mirror or something, it is also the way I meet the requirements/challenge behind this jam, since the notes/chords played in the arpeggiated synth and bass are identical backwards and forwards. The snare drum are also played in a 5/8 pattern that reverses/mirrors the second time it's played.

I'm using the music to try to convey a sense of mystique surrounding the area it is connected to, with it's irregular meter, the chords and sounds used.

Difficulty

A (Normal)

Make something that has elements that can be listened to both backwards and forwards.

Super nice, this definitely hypes you up! The lead synth reminds me of Risk of Rain and the whole track as a whole is just such a hype JRPG song!

At first I was just semi feeling it but then the high synth came in and it instantly grabbed a hold of me and made me listen up intently!

Honestly the issue I have with this song is that it isn't long enough! It has such a great foundation of instruments and chords that I just want more of it!

This is a really solid track, I really like the arp usage. Great submission

Sounds great! It would fit the JRPG game easily!

Very good, I really like it!
It would perfectly fit in an action/adventure/retro-jrpg game.

It somewhat feel very energetic and over the top. But still I feel it could go further with some guitar growl. Anyhow, this is a very cool Idea, that I took quite some liking.

BUT, If you ever think this could use some more guitar riffing. You know where to find me 🤘 .
