I've never played a game quite like this, so the mechanics were really interesting! As others have pointed out, some sounds and music could round off the game nicely, but I also appreciate that considering the cool gameplay you came up with, there probably wasn't too much time left.
I did struggle with the movement keys. I'm not sure how to improve this, or if it even needs improvement. It just always felt awkward and I kept pressing the wrong keys because I'm simply lacking the muscle memory for purely diagonal movement in video games. But once you add more levels, it'll give the player even more time to get comfortable with everything, so there's that.
Weird diagonal movement, quite interesting! I like the level builder included, that must have been nice for level designing :)
Great game, very fast and hard. Great mechanics.
Wish there was some background music and SFX,
I'll add audio and more levels after ratings end. I really wanted to do the mouth-sounds challenge but ran out of time.
Good job! It was quite difficult. It would've really enhanced the game if you added some music or sound and smooth movement to help with the timing.
Great job! I'm kinda bad at puzzle games but you did awesome on this one, I can't believe you incorporated a level editor!! That was an awesome surprise!
Really well done game, over the top especially with the level editor and save files. The art style is good, but could use a better connection to the theme. The mechanic is really interesting and fun, nice job!
The level editor was actually very simple. Levels are stored as a 2-level array of block id's, by x and y coordinates. The mouse position sets the block of its x/y coordinate. Javascript exports the current levels array as json. Much less time consuming than typing out each block id manually.
Very hard game, that gives you a real challenge. It's difficult to get used to and I love the gameplay
Very enjoyable, the learning curve of manual dexterity is very satisfying, and the constraint of using only diagonal movement took me out of my comfort zone to provide a fresh experience.
Addicting! And a very neat little mechanic. I had to play it to the end.
Really cool puzzle level, i like the concept.
