Summarise your game!
YOU are a new version of a deadly disease created by an alien civilization called Mycelons as their ultimate weapon. Your purpose is to infect all of the humans and prepare the Earth for their invasion. Can you do it?
SPORES OF SICKNESS is a strategy card roguelike where you are a weaponized fungi sent on a journey to infect Earth. Play your cards to efficiently disease the pitiful humans and unlock new cards to get creative with your plan of diseasing the Earth!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player is an alien mushroom created for the sole purpose of inflicting bodily harm through means of an infection, or otherwise spreading a virus.
Every card used during gameplay represents a method of infection that the mushroom can do to any human. The color choices also indicate the theme, as bright and gnarly reds/greens are used for the player character/actions.

Liked the Art a lot.
This was a fun game! I liked the art and the cute cheeky dialogue. I'm a sucker for slightly goofy evil characters. I liked the mechanics a lot, they felt intuitive, and getting a lot of people infected in a combo was a lot of fun! the only thing is I wish some of them like Explode Infected Human showed you what the range would be beforehand, and maybe the virologists/samurais should have a bit more of a cooldown on their skills, but that wasn't a major problem! Otherwise, it was really cute, and felt pretty well-rounded and fun!
this is great it feels a little easy but I had fun
Really liked the art on this one. I did feel like the later rounds were a bit easy but the start of the game got me hooked. Great job!
the art is amazing!
Getting a big touch combo feels great. I began using infect card exclusively on those darned virologists! When there's two of them, I have to keep them apart otherwise they heal each other. I love this aspect of the gameplay, it made the challenge engaging. I play a lot of roguelike deck builders and this was very fun! I was sad when I ran out of levels. 9/10 because I wish there was a way to choose not to pick up a card.
Love the art in this game!
A great card roguelike. Each type of thing to infect feel unique and different. the difficulty of the game really is highest when two healers are near each other. personally, the game feels too easy and that the only thing stopping you is time and not by enough.
This is one of my favorite games I’ve played this jam. Great gameplay first and foremost. Each of the cards feels useful and unique. Each new character introduction had me so hyped, the Samurai is the best man. Day 13 is the hardest level by far and those darn virologists are a pain in the fungus, but I’ll come back to finish it later. Incredible!!!
Love it! The art, storytelling and gameplay is all very cool! The added randomness from the "victims" movement paths creates a nice level of challenge.
