Yes

Summarise your game!
*This game is fully playable, but is still considered a prototype. There will be further updates including sound, music, and more possible endings.*

You will take the role of the spirit of the Sword of the Grove. Your wish is to give your Blessing to the one Chosen of the Prophecy. However, with so many heroes attempting to take the sword, it will be difficult to observe who is Worthy among them while keeping up your strength.

How to Play:
Start the game and read the Prophecy.
You can move with Directional Buttons on your keyboard or touchscreen.
WASD and UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT are supported.
Heroes will visit the grove, perform a ceremony, then try to take the Sword of the Grove. You can replenish the strength of the sword by moving next to it and pressing the B button (Z on keyboards).
When you think you have spotted the Chosen of the Prophecy, then you can inhabit the sword by moving next to it and pressing the A button (X on keyboard).

The last Chosen to attempt to take the Sword will be given it automatically thanks to your Blessing. However, whether they are Worthy or Unworthy depends on if they were the one who performed the ceremony as foretold in the Prophecy.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
In this game, you are the spirit of a sacred sword sleeping in what was once a quiet grove. As the weapon, you must decide who is worthy of wielding you!

I saved this and another GB Studio game for last in my testing queue so I could play them on hardware. So I was sad to see there was no download available anywhere I could find.

Nevertheless, I liked the concept. I had some difficulty figuring out what to do, however. With no player feedback on how much strength the sword has, I wasn't sure how often I needed to replenish it. I was also completely frozen on a handful of play-throughs after trying to replenish the sword. No matter how many chosen ones I "spotted" amongst the visitors, I never reached a winning ending.

I'd love to see you keep going. I love seeing new GB games and think you're at the start of a cool idea!

Thank you so much for all your feedback! I will be happy to provide an updated build with a download for hardware when voting is lifted. I plan to do another round of polishing so your feedback is incredibly useful on thingd to prioritize :)

Currently, for the sword if you press A next to it then you get a sweat emoji. If you get elipses .... then the sword is at full power. It is possible to get the alternate ending in this build, but youre correct that the clues are not well communicated. You have to just kind of get lucky, which was not my intention.

I am curious to know more about the freezing, as its not something Ive encountered yet. Youre freezing next to the sword or elsewhere in the level? I have some ideas what could be the issue.

I really appreciate you taking the time to play and leave a nice comment! this is my second GB studio game and I'm really enjoying it.  Thank you for the words of encouragement.

Interesting concept, would love to see more possible events or ways of interacting with the potential wielders. Style fits the game super well, great job!

Thanks for trying it out! That's Meeka's artwork that works so well. I want to finish some GB style cutscenes for the endings and it was intended that, at least, each character type had a different ending. Did you have any particular ways you wanted or expected to interact with other wielders?

Hi! Thanks for asking for feedback! I’m not sure in particular, but since you can move around as the sword’s spirit, it might be interesting if approaching candidates gave another small clue about their worthiness, like the colour or aura of their soul. This could give the player a bit more agency while balancing the altar's recharge mechanic. Just a thought though, I really appreciate the design choices so far!
