Absolutely love the vibes this puts out. I was a little lost with the game mechanic at first, and I struggled a bit, but the music and use of colour were a pleasure. Great work :)
yeah, the gameplay is a bit confusing, that’s something we’d clean up if we continue on it after the jam
glad to hear you liked it!
The art and the story are amazing! I didn’t quite understand the gameplay at first but I think i sort of got the vibe of it the more I played! Really loved the vibes. I would definitely reccomend more visual feedback in terms of what each of the abilities are doing instead of whatever the little squares were. Great work, keep it up!!
Thank you!
Same feedback as the others, i tried this yesterday and forgot to leave a comment. I really liked your art style.
Thanks!
I love that style. I knew that there would be games that would attempt to spread positivity but I didn't know how one would pull that off but you managed to do it
great game (but I have no idea what that percentage thing was as nothing changed once it reached zero)
good luck
Thank you!
It was supposed to be power, and if you ran out of it, you can't use the abilities. There's a couple things we missed.
First off, that aesthetic! I love The Midnight so was excited to try this after browsing your GDD. Definitely a unique concept (well, to me at least). If I could make one suggestion, some kind of visual feedback when the player firing or recharging might be nice. If you misjudge the recharge and nothing happens when you fire, it just feels like the game is ignoring you. Great entry though!
Thank you, that's an excellent idea. We didn't want to cause to much visual clutter on screen but that's doable.
