  • Definitely want to see more of this game. Got a little lost in one of the levels, but it was a simplistic play-style nonetheless. I interpreted your story as a sort of reverse spreading, which in my eyes, still follows the theme; that's just my take on it
  • Simple but effective, there's definitely a game in there. It's on theme is a basic sense, checks all the boxes, but doesn't stand out in any particular vertical.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Travel through the dungeons and remove the plaguing mushrooms while avoiding the adventurers who don't quite appreciate you. There are 3 different endings which should take around 20 minutes to get. Controls are WASD, LMB to spray and E to talk to things

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes

I really liked the atmospheric chill feel of the game.
Fun idea. :D

This game looks and feels really nice.  It looks like a lot of heart and soul went into making this.

Tried out your game, i like the style, reminds me of "the legend of bumbo" by Edmund McMillen. Nice work, keep it up!

Developer

never heard of that game but I see what you mean. thanks for playing!

Very fun and relaxing game. The 2.5D aesthetic with the added lighting was a nice touch. I liked the gameplay, only feedback I had was navigation could be hard in the later levels. Especially navigating back to the start, so maybe a mini map in a post jam build could help. Really great game!

Developer

yeah I definitely realised that too late, post-jam I might try add a map you can find within the dungeon like in zelda games. thanks for the feedback!

Very cute game with a really funny & original concept !
The game can be a bit unfair at time as the camera placement make it a bit difficult to see the adventurers sometimes. but apart from that really cool entry.

Good job :)

Developer

Yeah I definitely should’ve added a camera controller, I just kept pushing it back for some reason. Thanks for the feedback, means a lot!

I played the game in windows edge browser despite the disclaimer. I turned on hardware acceleration and it plays well! Great submission I love the games vibe!

Developer

oh really? good to know! I did change some things so it would run better so the web version definitely looks worse. Thanks for playing!

Really cool combination of sprites and 3D models! The lighting and music make for a very relaxing experience. In my opinion, the adventurers feel a bit out of place, taking into account the game's atmosphere, specially because they can kill you with a single hit. Their AI could be improved a bit as well. In general, a cool concept that can be expanded further, good job!!!

Developer

yeah the knights AI and how they acted were definitely more of an after thought. I made it so that you could spray them to distract them but it definitely still doesn’t cover how janky they can act especially in the tight corridors. Thanks for playing the game!!
