This is really cool! A good tutorial would greatly benefit this game as I think it has a lot of potential. Great work, and I love the art style you went with.

Love these kinds of games! I enjoyed playing through it. The big map was a bit hard to manage, and there was a bug where i could only access the shop once. But i won regardless :) The different power-ups was a cool twist i have not seen in these games before.  It was a smart choice having the power-up being mandatory to complete the first level to teach how they work.

Well done!

Good job fitting the theme! Fun concept!

A beautiful and chill game.

I like how the first 2 levels teach you how to play and the third suddenly throws you into the middle of a mushroom war.

It took me a while to figure out what to do tho. It could use some visual indicators of what's happening

Really liked how the game used the theme.

While playing, I jotted down some of my notes:

  • I did (still do) really struggle with understanding how to move/transfer/attack
  • First level I didn't do anything and just spammed next and won somehow
  • I don't think transferring is very initiative where it happens over more than 1 round (or I am not even sure if that is true)
  • Sometimes I send stuff and all sudden enemy transfer goes huge on the lines, not sure if that is a bug or how they're defending while I am doing things if I do send.
  • Feel like this is the type of game I need to be hand  held through a tutorial to understand all the numbers
  • Very nice art work
  • Chill vibe music

Look forward to the future of the shroom kingdom.

Hey, thanks for checking out our game! Yeah, your feedback is really well received. We talked about the necessity of a tutorial screen, but it slipped through the cracks as we were trying to bang out features and bugs.... If we had more time that's definitely something that we would have done. We did try to explain things in the description of the itch.io page as a workaround though! But probably still not enough haha
