- I almost didn't comprehend or realize that when you accept a customer's ask that gathering the items they wanted then and there was the way to go (missed seeing the timer in the upper corner, so the first day playing was the 'worst' in comparison to other days going forward). I found the way the characters were put together was very creatively done, a bunch of voice acting for all the cast involved was a cool thing to experience. I also found the music and art to be nicely done as well. And regarding the themes, I felt that alchemy was practically on the nose--as this was a shop you were crafting potions for, though it felt like there would be some kind of butterfly effect for who you decided to help and not help. As for shadow, I suppose you could interpret this as hidden knowledge; based on the almost vague reasonings the customers have for wanting specific potions in the first place and elemental effects (more so me thinking about how the player could give the customer what they want, and they return and start expressing why something went right/wrong, as an example). While games like this aren't my usual go-to, I definitely found myself intrigued about what direction(s) the game could have gone depending on who I helped and who I did not--let alone the 'loan sharks' that began the game. So, I'm honestly looking forward to seeing what more could be expanded upon from a narrative standpoint. All the same, this was done quite well, keep up the good work.
- Love the artstyle and the fact that each customer has voice acting, as a fan of Papers Please, I appreciate the direction you have taken this! The only issue I see is that the audio crackles when the NPCs talk, other than that, I like the game! It would be nice to see a little more interaction with the ingredients, like, having to step away from the desk to brew a potion, but overall, you have created a lovely experience! Keep working on it, great job! I'll be revisiting this!

Great experience! Not many of the submissions feature full on voice acting, but this game does it quite nice! I also loved the papers please-like dilemmas of wanting to help out ppl or refusing them because they wont pay you too well or wanting to earn money but not being sure that it's the right thing bc theyre doing shady business. Either way the game-part is also done quite nicely, my one gripe is that the very first customer started going on a whole monolouge while the timer was running so i ended up accidentally not serving him haha. I don't know if thats intentional or not but it made me feel like im missing out on their clever lines
I love games with funny characters and humorous dialogue, and you've got both in this game! I'd say the artwork and voice-over work are the stars of the show. Maybe if you let the voice-over play the whole time you are making potions that would add to the atmosphere of having a busy shop... Like these customers keep rambling away while you are putting together something for them. As it is right now, I think people would just skip through dialogue to get to the recipe. Overall, I enjoyed this a lot. Keep up the good work!
This is really good ^_^ loved the VO and story <3
Everything was great! Especially the art, writing and voice acting. Was it just one person doing all the voices? If so that's seriously impressive and something I'm aspiring to be able to do one day. A nitpick was that the voices sometimes got cut out due to the timer running out, such a shame, really.
The music and voice acting were great! I was confused about how to make the potions at first and ended up losing a lot of money, but I figured it out and started a new run. This time I made it all the way to the end.
The story revelations in the last few days makes me want to play it again and try out other choices. Great game!
