  • So this game has some playability issues, the mouse is not held inside of the game so I can't move very far to the left and I keep clicking outside of the game. Before I could really rate anything else this is a huge problem, please focus on the actual playability of your game in the future before anything else
  • Really cool animations and character models. lack of lighting and ability to see the ground led to some frustrating cliff falls for several minutes.

Lovely environment art, lighting and atmosphere! It's a fun Game as well, it's cool to play as a skeleton warrior and the level design is good! Keep up the good work!

An ambitious project for a 2 week jam!

It looks very cool but a couple of issues make it very hard to play. The mouse not locking on to the window means very quickly that you can't control the way your character turns in relation to your actual movements. This paired with pitch black areas with sheer fall sides makes for frustrating progression. I can understand the desire for difficulty but this feels artificially difficult and isn't massively enjoyable which is a shame as the character controller seems good and the style is interesting!

I'd like to have played more and look forward to seeing this with more lighting!

Developer

Thanks for playing and providing detailed feedback, I will make sure to lock the mouse on the next update and will hope you give it another shot. I genuilly forgot to put those twos lines of code in beause I developed it with controller in mind so it plays pretty nice with a gamepad if you have one! As far as the darkness of the map, it is pretty dark but that's part of it. Portions of your spawn area are literally in shadow becuase you are within the Shadow Realm. You should be able to see a vague outline of where the ledges drop off. Otherwise you just have to experiment with a few different paths. It's expected that you will fall off the ledge a few times in the beginning and I programmed it so it was a quick death and respawn. I don't mean to be defensive or anything as I know I may have gone a little far with the shadows especially with that mouse bug. I will lighten it up a bit in the beginning and hope you try again becuase there is so much more to see after the dungeon! It actually gets pretty fun and goofy as it progresses.

I like the overall style of the game. I did have some trouble, when I talk to the one guy the dialogue text box that appears won't go away. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it.

I love the sound effects, LOL. However, some areas of the map are too dark I keep falling off the map
