- Killed the rabbit with poison by accident and had no way of resurrecting. It would be nice if it came back to life, so I could test out more ingredients. The gameplay is fun and engaging, love the papers please feel of it and the music fits really well. The art is very cutesy. Ingredient tooltips should update if you use them to make a potion, just to tell you some of the properties, so you could keep an eye on what you use. All in all, really well done! Keep up the good work!

Tell us about your game!
Strategy survival rogue-like where you have to run a potion shop with ingredients that you don't know anything about! Alchemy is about creation, and shadow is seen as obscurity and mystery. Creating things is scary when you don't know how things work . . . but you can do it!

Oh man! The artwork in this is gorgeous! I'm getting some serious Papers Please vibes from that gate going up and down. I like the idea that you have to sort of figure out what these guys want. Some of these guys don't seem to picky. I keep going bankrupt, but I can see getting the hang of it with more replays. Maybe grannie or somebody could slip the player some recipes or there could be some sort of in game hint system. Overall, this is really well made!
Thanks! I tried experimenting with the art for this submission, as I usually put line work on characters, I also recently got watercolor brushes and have been having a blast with making textures with them.
Damm I'm probably not good at all in this type of game as I couldn't figure out what should I mix and what should I give the customer.
But overall I like the style. I think in GDD the screen drawing looks better than in game.
I hope to see it after fixes you want to implement ;)
Of course! We'll implement more fixes and information to make the beginning of the game more clear and help work towards some goals! Thankyou for your feedback, I'll let you know when we launch the post-jam update!
Hey man! Great Game :) I love how well animated everything is. Also the artstyle is great in my opinion. However, taking into account these types of games arent for me heres some feedback: For me the game got a bit repetetive after Week 3. Its fun figuring stuff out, but i feel like its "too hard to lose". As in i did what i want and only ended up with like 30 suspicion without ever bribing. But maybe its meant to be played longer (i stopped after week 3 sorry :( )
But yeah overall amazing game man! The Game looks super clean and put together for that short amount of time im suprised! Good job.
Thankyou for your kind words! As for the gameplay, the game is supposed to end at your 4th week - we didn't have time to seed in new npcs as the game went on, just the ingredients, so only the first week is "finished". As for suscpiscion, we aim to implement laws and regulations to follow as the game goes on, but all we could get done is that if you refuse customers, you'll build suspicion. We'll try to fix this in the post jam launch if you're still interested!
understandable! like i said great work for the time we had. Also that sounds like a great roadmap
Thanks! I had a lot of fun experimenting with the style and textures. We usually start the game off a bit easier for the game jam so we can get the most amount of people to experience what we have to offer. We appreciate the feedback.
