- Great art style, the game is simple enough to understand and the gameplay itself is extremely smooth. Controls are responsive which is a big plus considering the game is fast paced and the added booster was a big plus. UI is simple and reminiscent of older titles which the game took inspiration from, but it does lack volume control, which I thought was quite important. Another thing that bothered me was the camera position, the floor was taking too much screen real estate to my liking. Overall, this is a very well made game, simple, fun and smooth backed by a well made DGG.

Summarise your game!
Super Bomb is a fast paced platformer inspired by games such as Sonic, Super Mario Bros 3, and Celeste.
The game is a constant race against time as the player, an ignited bomb, must complete the stage and blow up the castle at the end before they blow up themselves!
There are only four buttons. Left, Right, Jump, and Explode. Charge up smaller blasts across your runs and use them to make new pathways and beat each stage in record time!
The story was to be simple although is unfinished. Inspired by classic Mario stories, there are castles and princesses to save, although with far more explosions in between!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You're a bomb. The whole game is built on the consequences of the fact that you're a weapon that explodes.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Maybe see if you can S rank a level or two. Ultimately, I hope that everyone has a good time.

Fun little platformer! Very difficult, as the controls felt (intentionally I think) slippery, but I enjoyed it all the same. Super meat boy esque in speed and efficiency needed!

This is a fun platformer! It's super difficult but I enjoyed playing it and I think the bomb exploding mechanic is really cool. I think it'd be great to add coyote time for the jumps and I found the wall jump kinda tricky to pull off. It'd be nice if you don't fall off the wall immediately when you press the direction opposite of the wall, idk if I'm explaining it well, but that's how super meat boys wall jump works and I think it makes it a lot easier to execute. Great work on this!

I think it is a great game art-wise. The explode-machanic is also really nice! I didn't like the feel of wall-jumping. It didn't feel as good and intuitive. Level 1-3 is impossibly hard. Very good entry with fitting music.

Really polished and great level design! Found the wall jump really hard, but could be skill issue. I never got all the golden raspberries in Celeste :D Generous coyote time is appreciated and so is the controller support (not sure if the latter is intentional, since I couldn't seem to explode with a controller). Really fun entry though nice job!
People have critiqued the wall jump so may your skillz remain unscathed. I barely survived Chapter 9 in Celeste and now that I'm hearing about golden raspberries I'm SCARED. Thanks for playing!
Yeah wall jump is an easy fix if you choose to update. The core is super solid so there's that! And yeah you ought to pull Celeste back up and get past chapter 9, I believe in you :D
Wall jump is reversed after i got over that awesome game, no i did not make it through nitro city ^^

Level 1-3 it's impossible, there are an excessive amount of spikes and wall jumps, and even if you manage to overcome the entire section, the time left to reach the finish is too short. Apart the physics doesn't help much. And also, sometimes when you run out of time, the game closes abruptly.
