  • This was quite fun! it took a little bit to understand how the mechanic worked but once I did it seemed really cool. I really liked the towers shooting where you did previously, it is an interesting take on tower defense and makes you really think about your moves before hand. Something I think that could be improved is the sounds repeating, especially the blue electricity one. it was the same tone for ever shot so I can see it getting annoying after a while. the Aesthetic from the look to the sounds is quite nice, it really gives off the 90's feel you guys were going for.

Summarise your game!
You control a different tower in each wave, and everything you did in the previous waves are recorded and the towers replay the same. So you control the new tower that appears in each new wave. Just point and click to shoot at the enemies. These bugs want to destroy your computer electronics chipset. Survive the last wave to win.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are the tower! In general in a tower defense you place the tower, now it is your turn to control it. Just get control of a random tower and start shooting everything before they destroy your chipset. Aim well and fast!

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Note the recording system of each tower in each wave, it is an incremental feature where you can get advantage of it. It is not shoot and be lucky, you can shoot an area based on the tower position for example.

Played a few rounds of this to try and wrap my brain around it. I think it's super clever. Where I'm shooting and the shot is going feels a little off. The bugs are so fast. The art and SFX were good!

Never beat it, but felt like I got close! If you want to keep iterating on this I would maybe have indicators of which path they will be on so you might be able to plan your shots better.

thank you! The enemies always run straitgh left to right, and random vertical position.

It is easy to beat it, try shooting with a tower to the same area and use the next tower in another area, so you cover the whole map.

Interesting idea. The first tower angle was a little frustrating to shoot from. But when  the next tower spawned i started to understand. Nice little game. good job!

thanks! Yes the positions are random between the 5 spots, enemies are random as well in each game.

I almost beat it!  The bugs were so fast but after I got the hang of it I was able to kill a lot

Yeah! we left it simple to win and it just have one level, we were looking to add more levels but not enough time :)

Thanks! this is a very short version, we were planning to add different health to the enemies, other tower attacks, and of course more levels designs! Hoping to improve it in the near future!
