I absolutely agree! Thank you for playing FailCow!

I finally got to play this! Chrome works on Mac, Firefox didn't work on either Mac or Windows.

In any case, glad I did, this was truly a unique take on "you are the weapon". I found the controls a little bit tricky to get to grips with but it was fantastic once I started moving — albeit the idea of a knife flying through the air is terrifying.

Really well done mate! Great work!

You legend! Really appreciate you taking the time to play. Glad you had fun mate!

Thanks Foxy Otter!

Thanks for your kind words YarallyOneGames!

The art assets were quickly made, being a solo I just had to run with it haha.

> soft-lock

You can, and I was aware of this bug. Unfortunately the rope mechanic is a third party plugin, and the physics calculation (or lack of) is outside that of the Godot's physics simulator (Box2D or whatever it is). I did try and put some time into figuring it out but alas was unsuccessful.

> Music doesn't loop

Someone also pointed this out to me prior to launch and I forgot to fix it haha. Oh well.

> Turn on the TV

That's absolutely right, it was the secret bonus. The originally plan was to have many secrets / approaches to the problems, to be more of a sandbox of tools for the protagonist to interact with, but ultimately just ran out of time.

Thank you for your detailed feedback!!

Really fun game — took me a while to figure out how the jumping mechanic worked. Great polish! Well done mate!

Really nice concept — well done mate!

Really fun game — I made it to level ten, clearly a great attention to detail. Loved the models! Great WOrk!

Hi Alpha! Thanks for the kind words!

I'm blown away by, the artwork, dialouge, battling, it's all perfect.

Amazing work!

Had a lot of fun with this. Loved the low-fi retro feel, game was very polished.

Made it nearly to the end of level 2.

Hi mondixgames! Thanks for your kind words.

I'm taking a little break from game dev now to recover from the past 2 weeks (as you can imagine haha) - once I'm ready for more I'll hit you up!

Really satisfying gameplay, ever bullet felt impactful. Loved the music. Really well done!

Loved this, really well polished. Reminds me of truck / stair dismount, but also toss the turtle, and similar games. I agree with another comment - the aiming angle should follow the slingshot.

Really well done!

Hi Logan!

The car was only intended to be moved once! I didn't even know it could be moved more then once so well done on that discovery haha.

After moving the car, the goal is to follow the cars path (now cleared) and head to right then up behind the armchair, destroying the boxes blocking the way, and finding your home!

Glad you enjoyed the game! Hope you had fun!

Loved the presentation. The hand drawn assets were charming, fantastic illustration! Music was fantastic too. Had a load of fun!

Hi Elvina, thank you for the kind words!

I had to make all the assets really quickly as I'm solo but I'm glad it paid off.

Glad you had fun!

Hey Mad Max,

Thanks for the feedback - I'd love a leaderboard too!

Hope the kids have fun!

Haha great comparison! That could certianly be an avenue to explore with Pancake... does he eat up all the other Roombas

Thanks for the feedback CodeFizz!

Hi grantlerr! Thanks for your kind feedback.

You're right, the continue button is/was broken. I actually just deployed a new version of the app and it might be fixed... it's a little inconsistent.

In any case thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback!

Thanks qtipbluedog!

I'm really glad you liked it. I loved the music too haha, it came from this source -> https://pixabay.com/music/video-games-retro-game-music-230227/

I could see lots of mechanics and scenarios for pancake to get himself into!!

Great Game, had a lot of fun doing flips. Movement felt great — I was able breeze around the around the map. And crunching the boxes was very satisfying! Great work!

Hi Strawberry, looked forward to giving your game a go. As you've mentioned there are issues on MAC. I hope to retry at my Windows PC later today!

Hi Strawberry Mountain Games, thanks for playing!

The common feedback I've received is figuring out what to do at the start of the game is a struggle, it's not immediately obvious what impact the player can have on the world.

And yes, boosting at close range doesn't work, it's not intentional, but frustrating nonetheless. I hope I can solve these problems!

Thanks for playing and your kind feedback!!

Cheers SpoilerSteve ! Thanks for your kind words!

Thanks honhero! Glad you had fun, cheers for the kind words!

Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun!

Thanks bigboth! Really appreciate the feedback! Glad you had fun!

Really enjoyed this !!

I haven't actually played vampire survivors — but I could tell instantly that it was the inspiration for this project, credit to your design, I think it has been successful.

As other's have mentioned I couldn't tell when the player / sword was able to attack. I wasn't sure if I just needed to play it long enough until I gained that ability. As you've mentioned in the description, "sword waiting for your wielder", maybe it's only possible later in the game.

Hi Feli, thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate you taking the time to play.

I did wrestle with matching this to the theme; the vision was there were going to be other intruders who visited, rodents, cats, and burglars — at which point the theme would be better realized.

> since when is a roomba a weapon, really?

You're right, it's not — but I took an unconventional approach where instead of firing projectiles, or finding equipment, the Roomba uses it's own tools and feature-set to be itself a weapon.

> immediately obvious that the boxes bounding up and down were indicating they could be destroy with the attack

I completely agree — I think maybe maybe a lock on system, or similar, would have been helpful.

Again really appreciate your feedback!
