Thanks qtipbluedog!
I'm really glad you liked it. I loved the music too haha, it came from this source -> https://pixabay.com/music/video-games-retro-game-music-230227/
I could see lots of mechanics and scenarios for pancake to get himself into!!
Hi Strawberry Mountain Games, thanks for playing!
The common feedback I've received is figuring out what to do at the start of the game is a struggle, it's not immediately obvious what impact the player can have on the world.
And yes, boosting at close range doesn't work, it's not intentional, but frustrating nonetheless. I hope I can solve these problems!
Thanks for playing and your kind feedback!!
I haven't actually played vampire survivors — but I could tell instantly that it was the inspiration for this project, credit to your design, I think it has been successful.
As other's have mentioned I couldn't tell when the player / sword was able to attack. I wasn't sure if I just needed to play it long enough until I gained that ability. As you've mentioned in the description, "sword waiting for your wielder", maybe it's only possible later in the game.
Hi Feli, thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate you taking the time to play.
I did wrestle with matching this to the theme; the vision was there were going to be other intruders who visited, rodents, cats, and burglars — at which point the theme would be better realized.
> since when is a roomba a weapon, really?
You're right, it's not — but I took an unconventional approach where instead of firing projectiles, or finding equipment, the Roomba uses it's own tools and feature-set to be itself a weapon.
> immediately obvious that the boxes bounding up and down were indicating they could be destroy with the attack
I completely agree — I think maybe maybe a lock on system, or similar, would have been helpful.
Again really appreciate your feedback!
