I've remembered good old csgo aim_botz days and stood in the middle, rotating the mouse and clicking on the flowers tips (I assume this is their vulnerable spot?).
The game looks nice and polished, it's remarkable you've managed to make it in such short time. I've liked the art (graphics, models, the music too) a lot. The overall gameplay (shooting, moving) was also on point. I wasn't able to move to the right, because my d button is broken. I've got 76 points as a personal record tho.
We've got a somewhat similar idea too. Even though our game is in 2d and its style is completely different, i think what your game needs too is more variety, as some other commenter said. You might have added enemies of different size, or collectable gun boosters.
Also, I personally would prefer, if the monsters would make less damage in one hit but had slightly more health, punched you faster and you could collect hp boosters. However, it's my personal preference that you may not consider.
At the end, i liked the game and admire you for getting it done in just 3 days(!). Hope to see your future games to

Thank you for trying out our game, I am so glad you had fun with it. We do agree as well about the lack of variety and would have been the first thing to focus on if we had more time to spare.

By the way you are spot on about the flower tips being their vulnerable spot.

Developer

Thanks alot for the indepth review and the nice words <3

Speaking of cheese spots like the last commenter, I was also able to find one under a tree

As a review though, I think the game feels good to play and looks really nice too. Some improvements I think would have been possible within the jam would be making the gun feel better, and perhaps thinking of something to add to give the game more variety. I'm not sure if it gets harder as time passes but if it doesn't that may be something to consider adding, like a CoD zombies vibe.

Overall a great submission!

Developer

Thank you for the constructive criticism, the plan was indeed to improve upon the weapon, adding new weapons and even unlockable weapon special attacks.

As for the increase of difficulty, yes, as time goes by, spawn rate increases as well making it more and more difficult

Cool Character Design.

I found a cheese location, if you stand behind the bench the enemy AI pathfinder will assume that you are behind the fence. then you can hop on the fence and see the hoard.

Small FPS logic, tons of fun!!!

Developer

Glad you had fun with it and yes there does seem to be a couple cheese locations through the level unfortunately

Cool graphic and monster design!

It's hard to tell how headshots really work and what enemy spores did. I thought that by standing by them I get healed, but nothing happened.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!
Headshots require you to aim for the flower on dangling above enemies, as for spores they act as an instakill AoE allowing you to down multiple enemies at once if planned right. I do agree we could've made it clearer.

Developer

Indeed, we were planning on better/different effects in gameplay and visuals but sadly didn't have the time to get there, thank you very much for playing!

Very cool game, 8/10 for me 100%. Mouse sensitivity was not very comfortable for me but everything else is quite good!

One of the prettiest games i’ve seen so far in this jam! The art and post-processing look amazing (: I didn’t quite get what the enemy’s spores did, and they also kept sneaking up on me from behind, but still, very fun game 10/10

I am so glad you enjoyed it! As for the spores, timed right they one-shot any nearby enemy  at the time of blooming
