This game is definitely in my personal top list for design in this jam! I really enjoyed the sound design and the ability to adjust the volume – it's something I often miss in other games. But I'm not entirely sure how game relates to the theme of "Bloom.". Also throughout the entire playthrough, one question lingered in my mind: why use the letter 'Z' for jumping instead of the spacebar – it really bothered me. Overall, a fantastic game with minimal flaws and great attention to detail, such as the sprite changing when adjusting the volume.

I like it, the controls feel a bit too slippery in my opinion. Also, can you add WASD?
This is probably the best submission I have played so far, I really like the idea, and I think the execution is almost perfect. I do think there could be some improvements in the feel of the movement controller, I didn't actually realize the reason my character was turning red was because i was too far to burrow into something until i was on the last level.
On the topic of the last level, it was super well designed and I loved the kind of wall jumping mechanic that you had to do to get to one of the bees. The level design, art, mechanics, and music were all great. Great submission!
Enjoyed it very much. Was a bit fiddly trying to shoot out of dirt and into more dirt while also jumping. I really wanted like a boost button or something so I could shoot out of the dirt further and faster and into more dirt and just be a crazy dirt missile. Nice job!
Hey i recognise this game mechanic ! Were you inspired by Ori and Will of the Wisps ?
It's a great mechanic, and I had fun playing through the whole game.
Maybe having more of a momentum when you exit the earth could make the chain burrows flow even better.
Also the air jump felt like a bit of an illegal double jump, since you can only do it if you have not jumped earlier. Maybe allowing a classic double jump would make it more intuitive.
My last nitpick would be the end level screen, Having the "YAY" and the "OOH" for the time medals you won was funny, but finishing with the "oohs" made me kinda end every level on a feeling of failure, even if i had one or two medals.
Anyway the bee with the realistic face at the end was hilarious, I had to take a screenshot. Really the highlight of the game.
Very fun but I found it difficult handling six different buttons while moving very quickly but that was only on the third level. Also very nice design.
Everything works well, nice polish ! The burrow mechanic is very interesting, but I find the 4 direction controls a bit counter-intuitive (on keyboard at least). Maybe 2 directions (clockwise/counterclockwise) would be simplier, like the super sheep in Worms.
Good job overall !
Gameplay and movement feels really smooth, the burrowing is quite addicting, this can probably be taken further.
The game is very well-polished for a jam game! The burrow mechanic adds a unique touch. I particularly enjoyed the music and sound effects! Consider incorporating more puzzle elements and expanding on the concept of blooming both artistically and mechanically.
