"Trick or treat" is an expression that can have different meanings in a fantasy world, such as the way a greedy dentist tricks the adventurer clients he should be caring for. So it will become famous as: “Trick or treat, gimme your teeth!”

Somehow my console crashed while playing the game. I think maybe it happened after I tried to enter the Konami code?

The crank seems to be too sensitive to play correctly?

Overall the game seems to be great but I unfortunately am not sure how to play it correctly.

The artwork for the game looks great though and I am excited for some bugs to be squashed in the code and to see a more polished version of this game in the future!

Thank you for your feedback. We knew it could happen, even with less... So, we’re happy to let you know that a fixed version is now available. If you’d like to give it another try, we’d love for you to play it and see the improvements!

LOVE the concept. However, like some others mentioned, I couldn't get a single teeth since I kept failing the challenge! I'm playing on the simulator with an xbox one controller. In any case, super fun, great work!!

Thanks a lot! Since we didn't conduct enough playtesting, we missed out on providing sufficient feedback. You should check using the B button; even if you struggle to stay centered, you'll still get points and the teeth are still counted. If you play long enough (around 5 minutes, too much I think), you should be able to achieve the final score. We appreciate your insights and those from others, which will help us improve things in the post-game jam version that we're currently developing!

super unique idea, and a funny take on the wording of "trick or treat"! i always love the vibe of "playing the role of a person in some menial-labor job in this RPG universe where the 'main characters' are out looting dungeons and stuff". i've definitely gotta up my dentistry skills, but in the meantime this idea's got a lot of potential and i'd love to see it go further

Thank you so much! We're pleased you liked our idea. We have plans for the future and would like to optimize it, possibly expand it, or use it as a base to create something different. Stay tuned!

It was fun! I had trouble with the cranking and did not understand what was going on, so I could not get a score. Still fun! A tutorial would be great to have if this was worked on further.

Thank you! We’re glad you had fun!

We forgot to mention that if you press the B button, you’ll be able to view the HUD, where you can see the timer, the gold you’ve earned, and the extracted teeth.

----Spoiler----

You will receive a final score at the end, after 5 minutes of play.

Enjoyed this!

The crank was far too sensitive meaning I was not successful even once.

Still had fun though!

Thank you! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying our little game.

Did you play it on the simulator or the console? Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to test it on the Playdate.

Both, kinda! I played using the Simulator, then I connected the Playdate as controller so I could use the real crank to control the Simulator (this should be the same as running the game on device as far as crank values are concerned).
