  • Pregnancy content: I really like the idea here, but it needs visuals. The goddess is nice, but as it stands it is numbers and names, and that's it. I am sure that the version with visuals will be far more popular, however. Gameplay: Progression is a bit too fast, the menus were a tiny bit annoying to navigate through, but the idea for all of it is really quite good. It needs a lot of work, but I'm sure it will be great with some further testing. The UI is quite pleasant to look at however, which is a quality most other submissions lack. Creativity: It vaguely reminds me of Slick's cow game last year, just with a different theme and without visuals. That is not a bad thing and I liked the theme here - I would really like it if there was some kind of story/faith events in a more finished version, showing humanity regaining their faith in the goddess and how that affects things. Personal thoughts: This one really just suffers from lack of visuals, I think. The basis here is good, but it really needs something to look at and maybe some rebalancing, though I'll wait for a more finished version to really say anything about that. I'd really like for this to get updates henceforth, ideally with a story to follow as well.
  • Fun clicker game, fun challenge at first but then gets pretty easy. Would love to see this expanded up. Noticed there wasn't an ending but read the comments on the bug.

This is an intriguing concept, it offers a rather unique playthrough relative to other games in the Jam (or generally), the standing image of the goddess is very cute, and I feel like generally this could be a game with a lot of potential. That said, it's a very BUSY game. You spend so much time just trying to keep each pregnancy progressing smoothly, and each one happens so rapidly, that there is not time to pause, look around, and enjoy what you are doing. You're continually pushing the numbers up and up with no discernable reward for doing so. It also doesn't help that there is no menu screen, no way to save, etc. Some visible growth of the goddess herself, some cute little graphics to represent the women who are pregnant, a way to pause things to examine stats, some more clarity as to what the benefits are for those stats, a save option and an exit option are all things that I think could help this game out. In all, a solid effort with potential, but not one I'm likely to revisit in its current incarnation.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you know which version of the game you have? I added a pause menu and stats screen on the last update, and I've also been slowing the game pacing down a lot (60% thus far) - so I'm curious how much more it feels like I'd need to increase it by.

As for art and more visual feedback about blessings, I agree wholeheartedly! I had to cut character art from the game jam version, and it's something I'm planning on adding back in.  Ontop of that the blessing system ingame was a stopgap as I wasn't able to get more complex interactions finished before the jam deadline, I intend to make them more meaningful in a future patch.    I hope the changes I make will give you more of a reason to revisit the game :D

Yo. Nice musique. It remind me a mix of CaesarII and the elders scroll : Arena. Ui as a old school char really attractive. The gamplay is good ans the godess art to. The gamplay is nice but windows tips it's invasive. For balancing, i duno iwat is planned for the futur, but at this time the "bless fertility" is really strong.

Edit: Forgot something
When you upgrad a pregnancy, you can use all upgrad but the number of baby is the only on you can see that do something (+1.+2.+3...). For other you can use you ressources infinitly but i duno if that affetc really the pregnancy.

Thank for your work and good luck for the next. :3

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm currently working on a patch to fix some of the issues with sticky tooltips and other UX/UI glitches and adding a pause menu, ontop of that I am working on adding features that were cut from the game to make it to the jam, and rebalancing the game some

Really nice concept! The menus were kinda hard to navigate appearing and disappearing all the time without letting me click when and where I wanted because of the speed of the game, it was hard to really do what I wanted when I wanted it and before the girl disappeared.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! There's definitely some issues with sticky tooltips that I want to fix.  Now that the jam is done I can take some more time to look at it closely.  Pacing is also much faster than I want it to be.  I had cut some features to make the jam deadline, and sped the game up a bit to compensate, but it was evidently way too much

In the future I want each girl to be a bit more involved.  Blessings and Statuses will depend more on what blessings the girl has, and the UI will make it more obvious whether something is available to be purchased or not

Oops, I broke the credit screen with 0.72 :(
Released a patch to fix (I had left an item inactive in editor view when building), but leaving older version up incase judges want a pre-submission deadline copy

Great UI! Mechanically, I feel like it would be a much stronger game if a 0.01 multiplier was added to the NPC progression though. As-is I barely have enough time to click on a character and give them an upgrade before they max out & are deleted. Given how fast the game autoplays through itself (I think maybe 2-3 minutes for me), trying to do the (I think upgrades) for the speed of NPC progress just didn't make sense for me. By the last 1/2 of the game, I was just clicking random stuff as characters appeared and got deleted, without feeling like my choices mattered at all.

There's something really good here, I think. But I wasn't able to experience it, based on how arbitrarily fast the game played through itself before I could do anything.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Definitely seems like progression is a bit too fast.  Working on a patch right now that slows it down a bit, and also found a bug that was causing each girl to in turn buff every girl after her, which definitely would speed progression up by a lot faster than intended.  Also threw in a QoL feature so you see exactly how much faith each girl gave you

I do have a lot more intended for the game, but had to cut to make the deadline.  Boosts that merge together to form stronger boosts, and unlock other benefits such as allowing the girls to be pregnant with more children, and so on.

I like the art. I would rub her tummy any time.

We can thank Marrazan for the wonderful character art :D
