Okay, to first address the elephant in the room; N-Saint and TheNyPod4 were rockstars in this community after last year's Aboard the Cosmic Cradle, and, especially in light of how upfront they were about burning themselves out with an insane work schedule on that one, anybody who expected a complete game from them two years in a row needs to just sit down and be quiet--these devs have earned a chance to do whatever they felt they could do. And what they did, while it is honestly little more than a proof-of-concept teaser, definitely appears to be at the same high level of quality we expected. I am, for multiple reasons, more invested in a proper Cosmic Cradle update than an expansion of Winter's Rest into a full game. That said, I see tremendous potential for this game to be interesting and enjoyable. The artwork is very nice, and the limited gameplay on display seems promising. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where this one may lead.

This was a very interesting game, though at least in its current incarnation it is really more of a visual novel. It's also very incomplete when it comes to the visuals, and I really wanted to see some of those visuals. That said, the dev has stated up front that they had to focus on story in order to make the deadline, and in that regard I think they succeeded admirably. The story does reach a solid stopping point, and hangs together well until then, though I certainly hope there are plans to continue it on further. One gripe, though, involves our MC's mentor before, who admits her feelings for him before he unceremoniously disappears from her life forever. Honestly, it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I say either have her acknowledge his feelings but keep things fully platonic, or bring her in somewhere down the line, perhaps as a request the MC makes to the goddess after the current events of the story have played out. As it is, it's a loose thread that feels both unnecessary and slightly cruel. Speaking of slightly cruel, I see the story value of having the one sister desire big boobs and get a huge ass instead, but as I am more into boobs myself, I felt her pain. Anyway, I think this is a tremendous start, and I look forward to a more complete and updated rendition of the game.

This is a fun game, and one of the more complete gaming experiences of this game jam. However, it felt like finding BOTH the red stone and the waygate out of the forest was merely done by chance much of the time. Also, it seems a regular occurrence that Pacci'd's games usually leave me wanting more (that's not exactly a bad thing).  Anyway, well done, and I look forward to future updates that might include, for example, a "bigger" ending.

I quite like this one. It's clearly a "demo version," with limited opportunity for advancement, but if the dev chooses to continue this into a full-fledged game, I could see it being quite enjoyable. I do think there should be a third belly size even at these levels; it seems a bit weird that the belly goes from technically pregnant to "could drop at any moment" in one go, and that the next level carries no increase in size. Perhaps make the second level more like a second semester size, and figure out an appropriate in-game mechanic besides birth for losing endurance, or leave level 2 as-is and create an "overdue" size for level 3? I'm also guessing that level advancement and rewards will be clearer in an updated version? At any rate, I think this is one of the more enjoyable games in the jam, and I look forward to a full version down the line.

This is definitely one of the standout games from this game jam. It's cute and sweet, nicely written for the most part, the art is quite lovely (granted, there is seldom reason to complain with Marrazan's work), and there is just enough choice to keep it from being JUST a visual novel. That said, it definitely skews closer to VN than full gaming experience. I did manage two different results with two playthroughs, getting a nice ending the first time and a better one the second. From what I've been reading, it appears there are already plans to implement much of what I'd like to see done in this game, so perhaps my input is not needed. Just for shits and giggles, though, I'm definitely hoping for more. More choices that affect the results of the VN. More playable characters. More belly (though in fairness Dina does get pretty massive in at least one ending). More progression; some have indicated that there should be moments in the story where the writing indicates belly growth that we should be able to see said growth, and I agree. More opportunity for earnings; I believe the idea has been mentioned of incorporating Dina's surrogacy earnings into the picture, perhaps for subsequent pregnancies, and this seems a solid idea. I know the idea has been discussed of unlocking a Rory route, and potentially having another Dina route to follow. I know the more routes there are, the more complicated it gets, but I see tremendous potential if the devs choose to pursue it. Overall, though, I do like what we have already, and I look forward to any future updates!

This is a cute and creative little game. It is challenging, but not impossible, which is a nice balance. That said, there's very little here to scratch that pregnancy fetish itch, and I'm not sure it's a game I'll spend much time with. It's also frustratingly difficult to block infection attacks. Overall, though, a solid effort that I applaud for creativity!

This is an intriguing concept, it offers a rather unique playthrough relative to other games in the Jam (or generally), the standing image of the goddess is very cute, and I feel like generally this could be a game with a lot of potential. That said, it's a very BUSY game. You spend so much time just trying to keep each pregnancy progressing smoothly, and each one happens so rapidly, that there is not time to pause, look around, and enjoy what you are doing. You're continually pushing the numbers up and up with no discernable reward for doing so. It also doesn't help that there is no menu screen, no way to save, etc. Some visible growth of the goddess herself, some cute little graphics to represent the women who are pregnant, a way to pause things to examine stats, some more clarity as to what the benefits are for those stats, a save option and an exit option are all things that I think could help this game out. In all, a solid effort with potential, but not one I'm likely to revisit in its current incarnation.

Thanks for the reminder about toggling the corruption levels. I temporarily disabled Alex's pregnancy, and had no trouble bringing on Hailey's. I also maxed out Sami's available levels at the same time, but alas she seems to have a ways left to go in-game. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of Hailey's pregnant scenes, and being able to officially get Sami to that point (incidentally, there is at least one Alex sequence that apparently still needs a pregnancy update, when you meet Hailey in the afternoon and the two of you find Alex in the woods while wandering--I am very curious how/ whether that will be updated for each girl's pregnancy). I am enjoying the game very much so far, so keep up the good work!

I've been trying hard to get Hailey pregnant, and I just can't seem to find a chance to milk her. This may be because Alex is already pregnant, and seems to have co-opted the usual morning scenes. Is there an alternate scene, or have I blocked off this route by having Alex pregnant already?

Kind of a weird work-around, but yes, it does seem to have worked for me. Thanks!

Same here. It's completely preventing me from doing the pyramid sequence.

(1 edit)

Got the same issue myself. Doesn't lock the game, but essentially stops it in its tracks and prevents one from doing this sequence. The sound isn't loading for that area for some reason, and the message does persist until the game is restarted (though thankfully that stops the error message).

Good deal. I have, I believe, finished the current build, at least insofar as the story progression and bonus content (which, frankly, is how I read this version of the pregnancy content). I am very intrigued as to what comes next, particularly as regards to Aurora's suggestion and Maribel's apparent kink (love that one scene). I am saddened that the first pregnancy goes by so fast, but again I see how it fits plot-wise, and if Akira comes up with a good solution for, I guess, blunting the force of Bastet's power that'll hopefully mean the subsequent pregnancies (of which I still hope there will be many) can be even more fun.

That said, a couple of notes/ suggestions? It's interesting that Bianca's status never changes from "This girl cannot get pregnant yet" (or whatever the phrase was). Dare I hope it only changes once the girls can become pregnant independent of the plotline, or was that just a minor thing you decided to leave for now? I also noticed her milking stats did not change... yet, despite the clearly higher yield. Incidentally, I love the milking scene where Bianca's pregnancy is finally incorporated fully, but it feels like rather a big jump to me from just milking her like normal; maybe a scene with a cute little bump and somewhat bigger boobs where they comment on her already increasing yield? I know that devs probably dread pregnancy fans because fully incorporating such a complex process into these games takes a lot of extra work; just know any and all such work is much appreciated! Along those lines, adjustments to pregnant characters' appearances in standing CGs and as many cutscenes as you dare would be equally appreciated, as would any efforts to make pregnant bellies look as good as breasts do in the game (I know that is a huge weakness in the Koikatsu studio/ character generator, even with some of the better mods out there). And perhaps pregnant versions of the lewd scenes we have on replay with Bianca (and later others)? I have lots of thoughts, but I've already said enough for now. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to an update!

I would like to agree that a bit more information in advance could help improve playability of the game, in particular regarding Bianca's pregnancy (and, I hope, many additional ones). To be honest, I was very excited that the possibility of pregnancy seems to be heavily baked into the game's structure, and I was intrigued to see how it plays out, but after quite a number of hours played and over 100 days into the events of the game I've yet to reach the point where any pregnancies are possible. From a story standpoint, it makes perfect sense, and even from a gameplay standpoint I could see it as a nice way to reward players for putting in the effort. That said, a couple lines of info up front to alert players to the fact that pregnancy will NOT be happening early on would help temper expectations for new players. Also, perhaps it should be stated up front on the itch.io page that currently only Bianca can get pregnant.

Now, that said, I am enjoying the game so far. It's an interesting concept, and it's clear that a lot of work has gone into it. I love the music choices, and the art is a cut above most similar-looking games. I look forward to future updates, especially ones indicating additional characters that can get pregnant. Keep up the good work!
