this game was on point the puzzles felt just right to me they were all super fun and the game seemed really thought out to me
Very intriguing puzzle game! Gave my noggin a good tickle. Would love to see more of these types of puzzles!
Very polished and fun, love puzzle games like this! Lots of mechanics that are each simple to understand on their own, but complex to put together into one level, which is exactly how you want to design puzzle games so really well done! I especially liked how you had very straightforward levels at the beginning to teach the player how each mechanic works in a controlled setting
Really liked all the pumping objects with the beat, especially the outer border. Some of the puzzles were pretty hard haha. Sometimes I was annoyed I had to wait for the beat to finish before stuff would move again (mostly after messing up wanting to try again) but it kept the game at a steady pace, literally lol. The art style, while simple, was pleasing and creative and the music did not get too repetitive. Great job!
Fun and polished; some levels fairly tricky
The art is clean and minimalist! Perfect for an abstract puzzle/strategy game. The stretching, pulsing, and subtle animations throughout make this feel extra-polished.
The time input is super innovative - I'm not sure I have ever seen this mechanic before in an action puzzle game.
The actual gameplay is super smart - all of the interactions are well-explained and well-telegraphed, so every time I lose, I understand exactly why it's my fault. I will def revisit this one post-jam!!
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it!!
If you don't mind me asking: did you find the first few levels (minus like, the first 3 tutorial levels) frustrating / confusing? I feel like I probably ramped the difficulty a little too much without explaining some of the core mechanics, but of course it's hard to know that when it's your own game!
The difficulty felt very reasonable - I was frustrated a few times, but never felt like the game was frustrating. The game is very generous in allowing you to instantly reset your queued movements, and the ability to study the level layout indefinitely before starting goes a long way toward making it feel fair.
really fun, unique and quite challenging game! looks great and feels just right with that beat, well done!
That's very nice of you - thanks!!
