I probably shouldn't have played this scary game so late at night 😅I liked the design of the enemy and the feedback of the heartbeat and shaking as it got nearer. That helped make keeping track of where it was even scarier the closer it got.
Damn, great game !
The first scary game that i play ! Those two colors really set the athmosphere of the game.
I have no complain about the game, it was really smooth to play it, good job.
Edit : I almost forget to tell that those drawing are really gorgeous !
Great looking game! I wish the game had a little more context, because you just start when you click play. Also, what does Clap do? I like the look of the enemy and the death effect is awesome!
The game is supposed to chronicle the story of an old man struggling with dementia initially entering the house to search for remnants of his memories, we sadly did not have enough time to implement those aspects of the plot.
The clap can be used to deceive the ai by luring towards where you are when you clap. Thanks for playing!
I love this style of indie horror game, its simple however still makes my stomach drop when I see the enemy enter the hallway I'm going down. I did find it a little difficult, however. Sometimes the enemy would spawn in the same hallway I would basically trapping me in place at the beginning of the game. Also, I think the sensitivity to the enemy footsteps is a little too high. The screen would start shaking while the enemy was on the other floor and would be really confusing at times. I really appreciated the hints to some sort of story throughout however. Overall good entry!
Thanks! Truth be told, Ive never played more than a handful of horror games so most of the decisions with the game ended up being mostly guess work and what I've seen on YouTube gameplay of other games and just testing out what seemed creepy for myself.
I'll be sure to fix up those bugs with the ai in an update soon, we never really got more than 30m to play test the game since we cut it so close haha.
Gameplay is good. Same with the art style.
However, I didn't expect this to be emotional. The drawings, the music, and the overall feel of them pictures when you die are incredible. That emotional aspect is very unique for a horror game and I oddly want more.
Thanks, we tried to do more with the plot but tying it with a backstory and having the dementia aspect more prominent with more advanced room switching with disappearing doors and such but we didn't have time to fully realize that. Glad you enjoyed it!
