The game is fun and challenging and has a good gameplay loop. I would add an image of the goal (Spider) in the corner of the screen to indicate the player's objective. Also maybe use sounds to indicate when the player's mouse is over a spider, or even add power-ups that freezes all insects for 3 seconds and spawns on intervals.
Cool game! Searching for the target is hard as you're combining serial search (looking at each individual item and dismissing each distractor) with tunnel vision, which means you can't rely on peripheral vision for any sort of processing. I think having some sort of cue to aid the player will go a long way, as right now it's very hard to find the real target. Once you find it, it's obvious, but you don't want to lose too many players early on! Visual feedback on click would help, other cues would help (audio when you find the target for example)
The game had a fun premise however, not sure if it was just me, I couldn't see, to actually see any of the spiders. Maybe the spiders should have been a lot more different to the ants.

with how similar the ants and spider is, maybe next time making it easier to tell which is which?

I like the idea of the game, but with the amount of ants and how similiar the spiders are to the ants. I just clicked randomly to find the spider.
Cool game. It was hard to find the right ant and i ended up just clicking all the ant till i found the right ones.
Interesting concept, there might have been too many ants. Knocking the ant count down by about 10% could make this a more enjoyable experience.
The idea of this game is inspiring however it quite annoying with it been dark and that the spiders to similar to the ants.

I really like the concept, however I found it a bit difficult if you could decrease the difficulty this would be a really good fun game
