Thanks, that's a helpful bug find! I also find it to happen with the water dispenser and vending machine. This will be fixed up in the next minor update I put out.
Looks kinda interesting, but sadly no browser demo. I just don't trust others enough to download a zip archive^^ Hope you'll get feedback nonetheless and maybe next month you have a browser version too.
Hi, it won't run in a web build, but is it an option for you to play the demo from Steam? I have the demo up on Steam as well. Also thanks for hosting the jam!
I tested it and have to say it was overwheling for me. That's mor of a problem of the genre itself than your game.
I didn't know what to to and ran out of energy. For myself a better tutorial would solve the deal, but on the other hand I'm not the guy playing those survival games a lot and the ones who do maybe know what they have to do.
I'm going to make the player kitty be a guide as well. The kitty will say something like "Click on me for a guide on being successful in our world". I'll need to organise the kitty UI better, because at the moment the player can rename, toggle follow, change colour and feed the kitty from the same window so perhaps I need to better organise this and add new option of a game guide. The kitty game guide will be like a FAQ and help the player understand how to play the game successfully. Player will still have to read though :)
Very cool so far. Not sure if it's intentional, but the player sticks to walls when falling if you move into the wall. Also, I don't think having to move the mouse to different sides of the screen to see the menus was very intuitive. Maybe make them pop up when you stop as well? Overall great feel though. I like the style
Thanks, I'll apply a no friction physics material to the player and get rid of the sticking to walls issue. It will make it more fun when flying around on the hoverboard as well.
I'll have a think about the UI. I make it fade away so the player can see their game world without all the UI cluttering it up.

Good game. I think I found a bug: when walking and starting a dialogue the character keeps walking until the dialogue ends.

Yes, steam is stricter with it's anti malware policy. Just drop the link and I'm on 😁
Thanks, here's the link https://store.steampowered.com/app/2080020/Home_By_The_River/
