Honestly, the game is really buggy, and, a little annoying, But, You got a very good idea there.

If you update the game, It'll get really good.

The concepts is gorgeous, the art too!

thx for the feedback! in my engine, the game works without any bugs but when i export it there are alot of glitches but idk how to fix export glitches so i left it like that.

I loved the style for this! I think it really came together - I'm very impressed with how much you got done in ten days. It was hard for me to wrap my head (and finger muscle memory!) around the rfe for the shooting controls; I have trouble thinking what I'd do instead - maybe something you could easily control with the other hand? A specific note - if they were in a line left to right I think I'd have had a slightly easier time associating with their respective slug. I kept running out because I kept hitting the wrong one!

Anyway I just wanted to drop a note to say I had fun playing this one and I think you really did a great job!!

Nice pixel art style and sound effect here! I got zombie spawn at player head and it stay with me almost forever xD The UI kinda weird a bit about which button for that slot of bullet. otherwise i find it enjoyable!

Love the art and music! I'm a bit prone to motion sickness so the parallax effect was a little much for me after some time. I'd love to see it stay but maybe with a "slower" motion in the backdrop? Either way, nice job.

Interesting world you've created! Slug guns to battle zombie clones of yourself. I have to admit, I haven't seen that one before. I dig the art style and music, it is bleak and dystopic.

Two game mechanic suggestions. One, I'd allow the player to jump again as soon as they hit the ground, like most video games. Second, I'd give more ammo of each slug, maybe 4 for a heavy hitter, 12 for a pistol. These two changes would prevent the player from losing key "Verbs" while they play. You could up the enemy count to compensate the difficulty balance.

All in all, a memorable and novel experience. Best of luck in your game dev journey!

tysm for the feedback! for the jump suggestion, i don't want the player to keep dodging the slugs. and for ammo i want to stick to the original franchise + you know that after shooting them they fall to the ground so you can pick them up?

I really like how it is quick to action, and the art/graphic style is pretty impressive!
The game took me sometime to understand though, especially the jump button (never knew it has a cooldown, maybe you could add the 5sec countdown timer text on top of the jump key, with a slight decrease to the jump arrow's opacity to avoid obscuring the text). 

Only other things are the slugs (pickups) are a bit small, maybe you could make them slowly flash or increase their size, not a problem after you played the game a couple times, but took me a while to find out that they basically lie there for me to retreive them after a shot.

The jump is pretty fun to use, especially when dodging projectiles, and I like how you gotta retrieve slugs, which means you gotta manage ammo (slugs) and punishes spaming, adding extra depth to the game. Great that they surround you to make it more challenging. You could improve it by adding control key icons (with a white text to stand out) on the Slug icons, bottom right corner (this way you know which keys are needed to fire each slug, making combos easier).

Yes, very nice background :) The slow rolling jump is a nice idea, but it's often locked and not available, is there a "jump stamina" parameter I missed ?

I love the graphics, the moving background is very nice, took me a while to understand the slugs fall on the ground to be picked up, the jumping is quite crazy, but potentially a fun mechanic!
