I got slained during the delivery after my FlySwatter was sanctified because the ghost came 4 times in a row, but I'll retry later for sure.

Suggestion : You could add a map of the city in the pizza shop, so after your boss tell you where to go you can take a look :)

Nice mood, great animations, the rain and character design have a strong and coherent aesthetic, making the jumpscare feels odd in the context.

You're right, the core of the gameplay (go up until you hit something by the bottom then reverse) is not as obvious as I thought it was, other playtesters had the same complain (I played a lot of similar games so I underestimated the subtility of the concept). I'll try to include more visual clues to convey the idea that UP/DOWN is not the same as LEFT/RIGHT.

And right again for the "puzzle or action" part. A vague idea I have is to allow the speed to be altered at runtime (you can in Frozen Fruit, another Crillion-like I enjoyed a lot), so you may either go full speed to set a highscore, or slow to solve the puzzle.

There should be a zen music looping in the background, but my initialization can have some race-condition errors causing it (and sometime other more critical components ^^) to fail to load properly.

By being a bit less greedy when dropping blinkers, I went to Generation 415 :D

Once again, I realy enjoyed your game ! I find it quite hard to hold more than 200 steps (pressing "play round" 4 times), mostly because at some point my defenses start to bubble so much they hit the cores, but I'm sure you have here a very good concept, thanks a lot :)

Yes, very nice background :) The slow rolling jump is a nice idea, but it's often locked and not available, is there a "jump stamina" parameter I missed ?

Hi,

I host my game both on Itch.io, and on my personal Github page.

The game is a canvas tag covering the entire page.

Here's the render difference between Itch and my static page.

It seems to me Itch.io lowers the resolution of the Canvas. I guess for performance reasons.

(I know it also disturbs the CSS, but this I see how I should fix).

Is there a way for me to avoid the low resolution ? I can see no option for this in my dashboard, maybe with CSS ?

Thanks for the nice feedback :) I spent most of the 3hours working on generating the papers, and only a few minutes on the office decoration ^^ Hopefuly I'll give it an update later
