Title
A Day in the Life of the Sun

Description
Okay so I saw the optional image theme and inmediately thought about sunset/sunrise, so I made this song and tried to convey the feeling of a day in the life of the sun (sunrise, daytime, afternoon, and sunset) through the different sections in the track! I tried to use instruments I don't normally use, make a song in a genre I don't usually make songs in, and just generally do something different this time, it was actually a lot of fun. Any feedback of any kind is greatly appreciated! (Especially mixing/mastering tips because I feel like that's what I struggle the most in)

The storytelling in this is perfect, I love the transition into sunset! Sounds very inspired by Stardew Valley's Summer theme and my favorite so far in the jam :D

I love the chord progression on this one. Gives me Mario Kart 64 vibes, especially with that percussion.

Love the change at 2:15

This is awesome! It sounds like it came from an old RPG or a game like Stardew Valley :D

Awesome piece, very joyfull and sunny, you are not getting lost in too many musical ideas and it's not repetitive either.

Love the harp. This would fit perfect in a Nintendo game. I think you're mixing is a-ok! Any mix adjustments would be a personal taste thing. Nice work!

Definite SNES vibes because of that harp and it's awesome. Mixing is good, although yeah, it could use a bit more bass but, still, it's good if to look through "game mixing" perspective. Overall, nice piece!

Really awesome piece. I'm getting a mix of pokemon + a mario beach/underwater theme. The percussion was exciting, and compositionally I was never bored. You said you wanted mixing advice, but I think the piece is mixed really well! You could have MAYBE added a little more low-end/bass, but I think the way you mixed it was great!

I love this piece, the rhythm, sounds, and overall style is just so much fun! If this was a BGM for a game, I would definitely stop what I'm doing to listen to this. Great job!

It was so bouncy and fun and just a joy to listen to!
