Love the change at 2:15

Thanks. I was real tight on points at the end of making this. I tried to get just the background violas and kick drum to fill the bass, but maybe having some lower notes for the other instruments would have helped.

This song has a really nice vibe, and the mixing is well done. At first I would've said the melodies lacked structure and kept repeating, but really it was done in a way that fit the feeling and I found it enjoyable.

This painted a great picture of the "journey's end" feeling, those type of songs always stood out to me and I enjoyed this one as well.

This turned out really emotional, amazing work!

The organ lines that come in towards the end are epic.

Thanks! Yeah, the quantization is something I thought could be a problem, but you stop hearing it like that once you've worked on the song for a while. I'll consider it in the future. And yes I can't whistle very in tune, even with some autotune on it it wasn't quite right.

I really like the rhythms you use in the second half of this song.

Thanks, appreciate it

This was a different take on this challenge, since you took the emotion in the image and went with that instead of focusing on one of the samples. If think you did a good job portraying the image, and I especially like the background parts towards the end of the song. Only on second listen did I hear any amen break.

The tone and main melody for this is lovely, kinda nostalgic. Some of the fast notes of the flute I think didn't feel quite right to me, but I liked it.

Doing this as a character select theme was a great idea, also highlighting the characters with different instruments is cool.  I did feel like the orchestral elements had a slow attack, especially in the intro, which didn't convey the energy the rest of the song. I relate to having that section at the end with unused material lol

Yeah I feel like the song needed another bar to finish, it feels abrupt. Thanks

Love the part at 1:00, the style on this is really cool. I do think it may keep the attention better making it a bit shorter or using fewer repeats. I see what Snowly means by the pipe sfx not blending well, but I still liked the inclusion of it and thought it added to the song overall.

Great, I also had the idea to use the pipe sounds as transitions. You processed them really effectively though and I think it adds to the character.

This is such a unique song, feels like I'm walking into a funky digital cafe.

Thanks!

The areas have a cool look here! Adding on to what Digi-Jam said, I think some sort of intro screen to guide the player, telling them the goal and controls and how to re spawn would be helpful. I did have a bit of fun running from the zombies

I liked the ambience and noise! This was a nice song to listen to when kinda tired at night...

I enjoyed this, the ideas flowed in and out smoothly and some moments were really touching.

I love the concept of stumbling onto a hidden garden, maybe more reverb/delay on the piano would've suited that more but I enjoyed it.

That dance like section at the end was really cool, the high notes of the piano almost became like percussion.

Many beautiful moments, reminds me of Chopin Mazurkas and Nocturnes. Excellent use of the ABA form too, really well paced.

I didn't know how to end it so I just played some bombastic figures into the piano roll then edited it a bit. Thanks

Thanks for the feedback! I see what you mean with the structure, its definitely a problem I've had with other songs. I saw that section starting at 1 minute as a development of the softer second theme in the first section - with a different emotion. Yet, looking back on it there wasn't really preparation for the sudden change in tone.  Appreciate it

The reversed sounds are integrated in a really sensitive way and the song has great flow. The theme at 1:08 reminds me of being lost in a forest or something. The left-hand feels a little robotic starting at 1:20, overall though the sound design is amazing.

Sounds like a beautiful improvisation, I liked the end, and some of the transition parts were really well done. For me the tempo automation was a bit much, it works great in some places, for me the rhythm got interrupted too often though.

Wow! I'm finding it hard to find anything specific to compliment because I was sorta lost in it. The left hand work is great, and the figurations and chord progressions bring back all that JRPG music I've listened to...
I think a brighter sounding piano would've made sections like the one starting at 2:31 stand out more - the sound is a bit muffled. Great job

I felt a lot of emotion in this, its quite evocative. I especially liked the melodies in the first half. Maybe using the waltz left-hand pattern held it back a bit in the more expressive sections.

Love the concept for this song. I think the pacing could have allowed for more of a build up to the end, maybe rearranging the order of some sections or cutting one could've improved that. It definitely got my imagination going though, especially the constant chugging energy.

The two sections contrast in a really interesting way, it kept my attention until the end.

Yeah I tend to forget/ignore the image. I can really hear the maze theme in the emotion in your songs.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it

Thanks so much! This video was helpful for me in learning to write for drums, though its just a start: How to Write Drum Parts (for non drummers)

I loved the happiness in the melodies toward the end starting at 1:20! Sounded like a mix of classical and jazz to me.

Reminds me of movie scores from the mid 1900s, really interesting.

Beautiful instrumentation, I especially liked the part when the staccato strings came - it was really refreshing. Only criticism is that I didn't feel much connection between the first section and the section after the modulation, though some of the chords in the section section were wonderfully evocative sounding. Nice job!

Unique sounding song - I think the charmer idea fits it well. Having some more ornamentation/variation in the repeats of the melody as the tensions swells would make it more jazz sounding to me. I especially liked the end where there was two melody lines going at once.

I would go to a cafe that played this anytime. Drums felt a little lacking and maybe could have contributed more to the vibe, but I also liked the chill tone of everything. Nice work!
