Title
desiderium

Description
I made the song using FL Studio in a total production time of 4 hours. I focused more on the natural, scenic part of the theme/image, and the nostalgia I felt from it. It reminded me of the calming jazzy music I'd listen to on road trips, in this sort of scenery.

I don't expect to win, I don't expect anything, really. I honestly just really wanted to join a jam and complete it for the first time! :D

Huh interesting...
Piano with drums that play in a bossa nova style. Very cool!

Thanks! :D

I really like the combination of chill piano with lively drums. I think if you had more time, you could have arranged so that the drums don't come in immediately to give a more interesting progression. The sound is good, it was a pleasure to listen to it.

BTW, I don't think that's how you pronounce "desiderium" in Latin :D

Thanks! Also thanks for pointing out the error in my Latin. Just realized that it's supposed to be "deh-si-deh-ree-uhm" lol. My mistake! :D

You're welcome haha now it's correct :D

Yo, cool composition! I bet if you took more than 4 hours it would've been much more polished.

Overall I like it!
but from a mixing POV the drums felt a bit off for me in the mix, the bass drum had noticable bass frequencies which I believe losing them a bit would have made it feel more in tune with the genre, and I believe the drumset itself could have been flattened a bit to give it that final touch.

Thanks! It's kind of ironic because I'm a professional drummer lol. Just not the best at mixing xD! I just wanted to get something out there tbh. Thank you all the same though! I'll definitely try to improve next time.

You did a great job conveying the soothing atmosphere of a scenic spot in nature through this track, I felt the reverbed piano right in my heart. The snares on the drumkit seemed a little loud though, which kind of jerked me out of the state of zen the piano had put me in. I think muffling the beat to be kind of telephony (or like lo-fi beats) could’ve helped it match the calming mood of the overall song better.

Sorry if the feedback is more than you asked for, this is my first RMCC 😅 Great work overall!

Thanks so much! I loved your soundtrack the most, by the way. It's also my first jam ever, so I just wanted to get something out there. Thanks! :D
