Description
This is my first time submitting anything on itch; I'm happy to be a part of this challenge! I made this song using Logic Pro and various sampled instruments from Native Instruments. I wanted to go for a swing style of Jazz using stringed instruments and a modern drum kit. There are examples of kicks over time a few times throughout the piece which I think helped to sell the jazz sound. The initial idea while coming up with this song was "Danger". The song structure I chose was ABCA. I would have loved to flesh out the arrangement more, but my time is limited for this jam.

Another song that needs dynamics, songs don't need to be going at full volume all the time
the drumkit should be louder, the lead instrument should be one of the loudest, everything else needs to be quieter otherwise everything is fighting for the same attention way too hard
Really appreciate the support I've received from everyone here, thanks for listening!
Sounds like it's straight from a Luigi's Mansion level, nicely made. Not an easy style to capture.
Very interesting use of strings. There's a gypsy jazz feel to it that I really like.
It's got a lot of punch.
For a first on itch, it's a great start.
I REALLY like the sound of the Vibraphone. It sounds very real and it adds to the song a lot. Its a shame the song doesn't go for very long and it doesn't feel like it really ends satisfyingly.
Very lively piece, I’m a sucker for strings. My favorite part is the section around 0:36. Nice work!
woahh this is so good!! i wasn't expecting string jazz to work so well :000
