Man, this is a great song! I really like the whole tone you achieved, everything is mixed well and sounds so full! Beautiful melodies - I love this one!
only one nitpick, too many short gaps between notes in the bass solo which makes it sound kinda sloppy.
real bass (and guitar) players try to avoid these small gaps, but with midi in your hands, you can make perfect slurs without any gaps (exception goes to the intentional rythm gaps of course)
I'm a sucker for a good rhodes solo; it's a sound that I aspire to learn how to do myself. Love your choice of instrumentation overall, it really landed that smooth and nostalgic feel!
One of the best "noodling on a keyboard over chords" entries, and the drums carry the song well. I'm wondering - did you program your own drums? or did Ezdrummer suggest most of the grooves and fills?
Some of the best sounds, on and off the drums. Though it also sounds like you introduce the sax with the opening cliché from "Careless Whispers" which is a bit cursed. re-write the sax solo, give it some vinyl noise and I would listen to a 12 minute session. gg.
Incredible work! This is amazing really love the vibe and the way the instruments sound really complement each other. Good job.
I liked how the chords didn't just go up or down when being played, having it be almost random feels great because it gives the vibes that it isn't a serious atmosphere but a chill and relaxed one.
I love the opening chords, and the drums create a very nice sound! The overall vibe reminds me a bit of Persona 5’s ost. And was that The Lick I heard in the end? lol nice work
Fantastic! I love it. It's like being in a jazz lounge.
The chord progression with the rhodes is great. The drum groove is very good. I love the breaks you make for the arrival of the sax and then for the arrival of the bass solo.
The whole compo is excellent. Initially, I thought there was a bit too much reverb. But in the end, no. It fits the mood perfectly.
Bravo
Wow! I love the sound of this! All the instruments you used fit together great and the title fits the track beautifully.
thank you :)
