What a WILD game! The story is so intriguing, I just had to know what happened next! What happened in the Battle of Hastings? How did Lennen end up that way? Who was Primeval Mask before he was J Dog? The writing and humour is great, and it's really fun having a jump button in this game. Absolute joy to play.
Had a blast playing, surprising depth, and great writing.
Love the sense of irreverent sense of humour. Who doesn't want to be part of a dog-alien-boat squad? We were taking notes about all the cool things you did with RPG Maker too, gna steal some of those for the next jam!!
That was a fun and wild adventure. I really enjoyed spending time with these weirdos.
What a bizarre and engaging collection of characters. Great writing and the art really stood out!
Great story and characters! The writing was really fun to read through!
I <3 JDog!
This game's writing blew me away. Really funny dialogue, with unexpected turns and twists and a bigger scope than I would've expected from a game jam game.
Love the weirdo party members, especially the boat. I enjoyed hunting for all the secrets and sidequests in each of the maps!
Really interesting core twist on the stated rules that allow you to do a lot more with the plot concept than expected. And this is maybe a minor thing to point out, but ive played a lot of rpgmaker games and i think this is the first time ive seen one where you can jump
Thanks for playing! The jump mechanic is thanks to a great MV plugin by Galv.
Such a unique game, I enjoyed the humor and artstyle a lot, reminded me a little of Cruelty Squad and other games going for that abandonware, intentionally janky art.
Thanks for checking it out!
