Very fun story that manages to pack in a good amount of world building into its runtime. The art, voice acting, and sound work are all fantastic and keep things engaging. And despite the fact that I am normally a huge baby that cant do horror, it manages to strike a balance with body horror that was relevant and interesting without scaring me off.

Most of that was maybe the least i have ever felt i understood what was happening in a video game. But in a way that felt intentional. i dont think i really figured anything else, but it honestly reminded me of playing games like majora's mask when i was too young for it and just couldnt comprehend what i was actually supposed to do. but there is still some since of curiosity that makes you want to explore the world
sorry, i just realized i should have mentioned this in my last comment but it slipped my mind last night. but the music you have included is copy-written stuff you dont have the rights to. even if this is the kind of video game music that wouldnt get flagged on stream, it is still against the rules of the jam and probably itch's as a whole to use like this. you are still allowed to patch issues found in your game even after the deadline, so if you would be able update this to either include fully license free music, or just remove it all together or something, i would ask that you please do. it really is a cool game and i would hate something like this to impact it negatively
plenty of big budget games have unintended combos that eventually get patched out. personally, i was excited to find it as i felt reward for playing around with the system a bit more and trying to figure out how it works. i know its probably not the ideal way for it to be played, but it at least made me smile
What a sweet and fun game. The puzzle platforming mechanics were introduced at a great pace and all seemed like a natural evolution of each other. The levels were all interesting and i like how they seem to all end in a final test of the new skills. I also think the meta messages from the developer are a super nice touch
I have only gotten the chance to check this out super briefly and will find time to go back to it and finish it. But im into the art as a first impression. Im only commenting now before finishing it to give a small flashing lights warning.
Photo-sensitivity warning: the scene that plays on a game over has some lights thats that flash in a way that may be uncomfortable to some such as myself
