Very fun story that manages to pack in a good amount of world building into its runtime.  The art, voice acting, and sound work are all fantastic and keep things engaging.  And despite the fact that I am normally a huge baby that cant do horror, it manages to strike a balance with body horror that was relevant and interesting without scaring me off.

if you do two hits and then stop the combo and do like a tiny micro walk forward you can do another 2 hits and repeat.  it seems like an infinite, but maybe there is a tiny bit of time to do something that the ai just never took advantage of

Loved it and it was very fun to see how much it has evolved since i tested it.  Love all the art, love all the story bits and it is a very fun structure for a game

This game is just one impeccable vibe the whole time.  The overall visual style, the character art for the models and portraits, the music, and the level design all create for a tight game with a fun, spooky, staturday morning cartoon vibe

Very cute pixel art and a fun little story and game to show it off in.  Love the incorporation of so so much of the lore and community input in such a small package

Thanks for getting a new build up that doesnt have the music issues.  i would recommend you remove the old upload in order to avoid any problems with itch's hosting policies

Super cool premise executed incredibly well.  Its very impressive how natural understanding your space become the more time you have with the powers.  And the use of sound is useful, impactful, and generally well done

Came back to this and spent the time to understand it a little more.  A game about uncovering everyone's web of friendship is a really interesting one to make use of the central theme.  I also really enjoy the unique feel of all the characters rooms and such.

Most of that was maybe the least i have ever felt i understood what was happening in a video game.  But in a way that felt intentional.  i dont think i really figured anything else, but it honestly reminded me of playing games like majora's mask when i was too young for it and just couldnt comprehend what i was actually supposed to do.  but there is still some since of curiosity that makes you want to explore the world

What a wonderful and heartwarming time.  Just super sweet from start to finish.  Excellent writing and very fun and charming music.  I also love this version DSD.  Feels like more of a departure to the character than most while still staying true to him at the core.

sorry, i just realized i should have mentioned this in my last comment but it slipped my mind last night.  but the music you have included is copy-written stuff you dont have the rights to.  even if this is the kind of video game music that wouldnt get flagged on stream, it is still against the rules of the jam and probably itch's as a whole to use like this.  you are still allowed to patch issues found in your game even after the deadline, so if you would be able update this to either include fully license free music, or just remove it all together or something, i would ask that you please do.  it really is a cool game and i would hate something like this to impact it negatively

plenty of big budget games have unintended combos that eventually get patched out.  personally, i was excited to find it as i felt reward for playing around with the system a bit more and trying to figure out how it works.  i know its probably not the ideal way for it to be played, but it at least made me smile

This was a super fun time.  And the presentation is stellar.  Love the way characters jump out of the scene and into their dialog boxes.  its just super stylish all around

Agreed that a rhythm game is a super great fit for the champ.  i also really appreciate the options included.  Stuff like controller and keyboard support, delay adjustment, and no fail mode are actually really nice accessibility things i would not expect from any game jam game

Very neat character designs and a cute little area to explore.  it was a good time for sure

Just an incredible job creating new characters that fit so well with the existing one.  Very clever use of foam in this too that doesnt feel forced or jokey even a little

Very cool use of what seems to be one of the less commonly used characters.   very unique gameplay idea

Just an all around awesome package.  the art and music are top notch and the card game is really fun.  all the character look unique but instantly recognizable.  its truly a wonderful game.  even if i still havent been able to get that wally run yet.  im sure ill be back to try again though

What a sweet and fun game.  The puzzle platforming mechanics were introduced at a great pace and all seemed like a natural evolution of each other.  The levels were all interesting and i like how they seem to all end in a final test of the new skills.  I also think the meta messages from the developer are a super nice touch

This was legitimately one of the cutest looking games i have ever played regardless of time, budget, or scope.  Your art style is amazing and i really loved playing this

Wow, i got my butt kicked.  turns out betting marbles on a bunch of baseball doesnt make you good at it.  still had a good time though.  love the look of the baseball games and the models for the players are really cute

The style of this is so cool.  love all the character interpretations and the whole vibe is just really fun.  And i absolutely adore this tradition of making a physical game for these

Very neat little game.  really loved seeing all the endings.  plus i found an infinite that applies to all the characters, which is legitimately something i enjoy figuring out in this kind of thing.  the menu presentation is also really nice

Very neat mechanic that allows for both platforming challenges and puzzle solving in one.  I also appreciate a game that allows it story to sit back for those who want it and allow those who just want to check out game concepts to save it for later.

Really interesting core twist on the stated rules that allow you to do a lot more with the plot concept than expected.  And this is maybe a minor thing to point out, but ive played a lot of rpgmaker games and i think this is the first time ive seen one where you can jump

I have only gotten the chance to check this out super briefly and will find time to go back to it and finish it.  But im into the art as a first impression.  Im only commenting now before finishing it to give a small flashing lights warning.

Photo-sensitivity warning:  the scene that plays on a game over has some lights thats that flash in a way that may be uncomfortable to some such as myself

Very nice aesthetic and vibe.  The opening cinematic sets the tone super well got me pumped to have a great time with a genre that isnt typically my thing.  which i did.  also loved seeing all the WIP stuff over in the discord.  really helped keep me motivated

Just all around excellent.  Loved the central theme and all the characterizations.  I legit gasped towards the end at some of the puzzle escalation

Very cool core concept for a game, and i was consistently impressed by the placement of hidden collectibles.  there were multiple times i was absolutely certain i was going to go out of bounds, fall out of the world, and break the game only to find that there was a collectible power up there.

Thank you so much <3  i think "cool short game" was my exact goal setting out

This was a wonderful experience.  If im being completely honest, i wasnt really feeling it in the first bit.  but by the end i was in full on tears.  you made something really interesting and touching, and i truly appreciate being able to play it

Very neat core puzzle mechanic and the excellent art really helps convey the progression.  And this does a very good job of making puzzles and fights feel very different even though you are engaging with them with the same mechanics
