First of all, I loved the concept and the use of sound and lighting, it gives the impression of the sea depths without a doubt. On the other hand, I found it very empty at the beginning and I had technical problems in Firefox, the game was running at very few frames. I see that you have done a great job in the game that at first glance cannot be seen, but that has a lot of merit. Congratulations!
yeah, I've run into quite a few problems with the webGL version, I've found the source of the problem, but it's annoying to test all of them because the issue doesn't show up in my local version. I'll probably fix them all post jam, but for the best experience, the downloaded version is best.
Thank you for the kind words!
Nice idea with the controls! The light cone should be a tad larger. I encountered only 1 enemy in 5 minutes, moving further down I heard an ominous sound but then my sub got stuck. The art is nice, but the ping sound really is distracting after a while :)
If you reduce that the game would feel quite serene.
Shoot! I thought I fixed the spot you could get stuck. It is very rare though, at least. I hope you give it another try, there's lots of content you didn't see!
I will!
I love the theme, but technical part is poor, if I'm being honest.
But i love control scheme, where you control your ballast level in order to ascend or submerge
What do you mean by technical?
If you played prior to 4pm on feb 27th, please give it another try. Some fairly substantial changes have been made. Thank you!
I really liked the movement mechanics, and the tension the sound built really added to the atmosphere. However after a bit I realized that there wasn’t a whole lot threatening me other than the walls. Otherwise a really solid concept.
there is an end game encounter that spawns after some time. 😁
