How did you choose to implement the Theme: Dark Streets in your game?
I had the majority of the game place in a street that has dark implications.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes, the entire game takes place in a city. The player character is a police officer. And although there is no game mechanic attached to it. The main character is tied up at the beginning of the game.

Did you create your game in RPG Maker?

Yes

Interesting game.

Somehow it was hard to understand how to progress at the very first quest. But maybe it’s because I didn’t pay enough attention. The map is really useful.

Windowed mode doesn't work well. Maybe it has the wrong size.

Two art styles are very different and transition caught me off guard somehow, but it makes sense.

Story feels like it’s told indirectly.

Thoughts about what it could be:

Looks like quest-giving ghosts are a representation of main character in different age and events reflect events in his life, but I may be wrong.

Endings are confusing… Well, the second one is confusing in combination with other two. But these endings made me think about why are they like that, so they're good at that.

Thanks for the feedback! The windowed mode should now be fixed (This is my first game so I am still learning everything lol.) I did intentionally make the story sort of vague but it seems like you understood most of it! Thanks for playing!

A short and strange game. It has a creepy atmosphere despite the simplicity of the art. At the Laugh Hotel, we definitely felt like someone with schizophrenia—terrifying!!

This was honestly a really cool game. Idk if we're suppose to share ratings, but I gave you 5 stars for creativity and Theme. I LOVED the laugh hotel,  and the NPC's crazed dialog LOL. I'm sure you were inspired by the game "OFF" while creating this.

What drew me into this game was the seemingly hand-drawn pictures in the thumbnails, and intro scenes. It looks like you either took a picture of paper drawings or photo-scanned them, either way it added a unique quality to the game. ( I may even try that in a future game myself, although I'm not that good at physicals drawing ). If you had stuck with that technique throughout the game, it would have added more cohesiveness to your project ( instead of doing a different style after the intro ).

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! You're right I basically just scanned the drawings with my phone, if you decide to ever do a hand drawn game like this.
