If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
The game will become impossible
Any additional information for voters?
This is an entry made in a few hours. I've been entering jams and not getting anything in on time so I gave myself a challenge to finish and submit two games in one day!

Cute little game! I included it in my compilation video series of the ‘So Bad It’s Good’ Jam, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Awesome thanks!
I liked the idea of forcing the player to stick to fixed positions. A nice touch to the classic avoider game.
Managed to get 1475! Great job: especially considering how quickly it was made. Played super smoothly, and I had a good time!
Nice simple, refined mechanics. Good artstyle and sounds. Just wish there was a tad bit more to it...but made in one day is impressive!
Nice job!
I enjoy reflex based games and this one is indeed pretty hard. Nice job!
Thanks!
Nice!
I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!
What I liked
Consistent retro styling (it looks like you used a fantasy console/fantasy computer engine for this?)
Simple but addicting gameplay. It's retro in this way too, really does feel like a game from the period.
What I didn't like
I kinda wish it had music, though not having music does fit the overall style of the game as many systems of the time didn't have that capability.
Did I think it was so bad it was good?
No, (un?)fortunately it really didn't give me that feel. It's small, simple, and oldschool, but I struggle to find any bad in it
My thoughts on the modifier implementation
Meh. High difficulty and no winning condition, I'm not a fan of. On the other hand, a lot of games from this era were very hard, and it's clearly meant as a highscore kind of thing. So I'll give it a pass but it doesn't really go beyond the obvious here.
Verdict
A nice little game that doesn't feel bad at all. Maybe not a good fit for this jam but quite nice in general especially considering how quickly it was made.
If you have any questions, comments, queries or concerns, please reply and I'll do my best to get back to you.
Thanks for your detailed review! I kinda wish it had music too but I was struggling with the system in TIC-80 (this is the first time I've used TIC-80) and decided to submit without it.
I would rather play this than Chrome's dinosaur offline game.
Is this game inspired in another one or it is a concept you came up with?
The first pass at it had free movement for the player but I wasn't happy with it. I tried a couple of other ideas like asteroids type movement(!) or a single axis but in the end settles on the grid based movement inspired/borrowed from the fantastic Jump Grid https://ianmaclarty.itch.io/jumpgrid
Love it. If I'd had this game for the Sinclair Spectrum I would have played it until the machine chewed up the cassette and it stopped working. So at least twice.
Ha ha! I always wanted a Sinclair Spectrum, maybe less so if the cassettes were that fragile! :)
Good game! I got 1453.
Good score!
Nice game!
