Ranked from 13 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
This wasn't on purpose, but this game is impossible to beat. Just try to reach the highest score.

Any additional information for voters?
I reused my own engine for this game. Also, the Dobuki character was produced before the jam. The rest was made during the jam.

The eye-filled wafers is a good choice here :) The level of difficulty is well adjusted. I think it makes a good combination. Good work.

Love the creepy visuals! It's also super impressive that you created your own engine for this. Nice work!

Well this is an entertaining little ghoulish ordeal.  Very fun to play and the creepy photograph sprites really give an ambience of early-2000s flash games -- the Golden Age of SBIG content.  Great work!

Managed to get 35! Really cool that it's your own engine, and it runs super smoothly.

Really fun to play. Well done!

It's got an interesting look and feel to it. That silky 60 fps is really nice and the fact that you built the engine is pretty amazing.

Nice job!

I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!

What I liked

The graphics are weird but funny.

Hey, an infinite runner!

What I didn't like

It's stupid difficult. I pretty much die as soon as I start moving.

There is no sound, or it didn't work for me.

Did I think it was so bad it was good?

Eh, maybe. It's got some of that feel to it. I think it would be a stronger contender if it

My thoughts on the modifier implementation

I think an infinite runner would have been pretty cool but being impossible to go two metres (~6ft) is less cool.

Other remarks

I thought for a moment it was going to be about the movie.

I have tremendous respect for anyone who builds their own engine. Been there, done that, decided to stick with Unity despite its flaws.

Verdict

Swing and a miss. As odd as it sounds, though, I think it works better as a tech demo.

If you have any questions, comments, queries or concerns, please reply and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Developer

Hey, sorry for the glitch. I think this happens on all Windows machine. Should work fine on Mac.

I am not able to play this in Chrome :(

I enjoyed the glitchiness of the graphics.
