This was really fun!

As a big fan of Tower defence games, I'm happy that one has popped up this year!

Honestly the menu graphic hits so hard, absolutely love it! The enemies are also very cool and the environments look great.

The gameplay mechanics work surprisingly well, given the limited time of the jam! I ended up placing all my towers fairly quickly, and  ended up with a whole load of coins. I think it's kinda okay though, since the game is only 10 waves. Upgrades and cool shizz like that would be fun if you ever wanted  to extend the game!

It's short and doesn't overstay it's welcome. Overall a really neat package!

Glad  I could sort out your infestation problem.   Thanks for submitting to the jam!

I liked the combo of FPS and tower defence, haven't played too many that do it.

I thought the art and sound effects were well done, the art might be a bit too quality for a sbig game, but the fact they're bug guys makes up for it a bit.

Though the shooting I think was fine for SBIG I do also wish it had a bit more oomph to it, or that maybe the shooting could be permanently upgraded, because the default attack value made shooting some enemies just feel tedious.

And I agree with the criticism that after a certain point there's nothing more the player can do with the towers, since it's easy to max out all the spots and then they can't be changed or upgraded further.

And also, a fullscreen default or option would be great, felt a bit awkward playing it windowed on desktop.

Overall though this was pretty cool, great work!

That game was pretty good.

A few small nitpicks though.

Firstly - it felt a bit too much like a player’s success or failure hinged a bit too much on whether or not they could get a turret down during wave 1. On my first attempt - I didn’t manage to get a turret down ASAP, and so I quickly got steamrolled and naturally lost. Second attempt - I made a point of getting a turret down ASAP, and then the rest of the game was a total cakewalk. Secondly - might be worth binding the escape key to a pause screen or something rather than instantly restarting the game when pressed, just to avoid mishaps. Finally - would be nice if it was possible to play the downloadable version in fullscreen rather than being stuck on windowed mode (even after trying to alt+enter to force it into fullscreen).

Still, nice game.

Fun game! The custom made sound effects were really funny!

Like others have said, I did find the game to be a bit too easy. Maybe adjustments to the in-game economy could balance this out?

But overall, great job!

Very good presentation in terms of graphics and audio + looks to be really polished. Haven't played many FPS tower defenses but I thought it could use some more tweaking tho. It felt very easy due to high gold income so I had all the spots filled very quickly and the decision making on what turret to choose and where to place it didn't seem that important. Congratz on the submission!
