If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
I was planning to make much noise with the speakers

Any additional information for voters?
My first game jam. I am surprised I made it on time

Stylistically I liked this one, but the movement is a bit too janky.  Like it seemed for some of the speakers there was little to no options for avoiding the projectiles in the more cramped areas.

The visuals were decent for a SBIG game, though the lack of an attack animation is kinda unfortunate. The overly noisy footstep sounds I thought were funny, and the various songs being played were fitting.

For a first game jam this isn't a bad effort, the game runs well enough, and there'sa defined fail state. Though admittedly a "Restart" button on the death screen, or even just having the game automatically restart would be nice rather than having to close and manually relaunch the game. Though that's the kind of stuff you start adding to games over time as you learn and improve, and for SBIG it's not the worst thing.

Good job!

As a platformer, it's pretty rough. Movement is weirdly floaty, the camera is horrible, attacking is awkward and between all those issues and the punishing level design it's almost impossible to destroy the speakers without getting hit. I died pretty quickly.

For a first jam, it's not bad, though. The game is functional, and the only real issue is the packaging one that's already been mentioned. The overall feel, visual and sound design are a good fit for this jam.

This a nice job for a first game jam! Like Ned said, you would probably be better off having both of your downloadable files here be part of one zip file to make it more convenient for players.

One thing I would like to point out is that the hitboxes on some of the speakers were a bit weird, where I could only hit them certain ways. And this didn't always feel consistent.

But again, great job for submitting this, and you should keep doing game jams!

Interesting game! Really liked the premise and the graphics are quite fun!

I think bundling the exe and pck file as a single zip might be better than having them as separate downloads, as I was slightly confused about why the game was loading properly at first!

Otherwise, well done on submitting to your first game jam! Hope you enjoyed the process! 😃

Thanks
I realized too late that I could have made it a zip file
It was fun making the game but it was challenging for me to make it on time

well, there’s still time to reupload it as a .zip 🙃

(alternatively, Godot has an option for embedding the .pck within the .exe file - and, assuming you’re not using C# in Godot 4, there’s also the option to export it as a web build so it’ll be playable via browser as well)
