Very cool entry. From the game play perspective one of my favorites. I like how well the controls work. The sound is a bit monotonous. But that's okay. :)
Cool Game! The controls are really well made and it is really fun to guide the rocket through the obstacles. I also liked the use of the flames to clear your path. They only thing that really bothered me was the pickup sound. It's somehow really loud and high pitched compared to the other sound effects that it made my ears hurt :(
Had fun nonetheless. Keep making games! :)
Good to know, my speakers are terrible so I couldn’t tell, I will pitch it down or something after jam.
Nice game! The dual purpose of the flames is great. I would maybe reduce the turning radius a bit, or make turning speed accelerate over time, so that you can do 360s in a smaller region.
How does it sound if explosions temporarily increases turning speed? I think this would pull up the skill ceiling a little.
That could work!
Really fun! Great
This is super fun to play! The particles are sooo so great - they feel even nostalgic in a way! The audio was balanced but I think a sountrack could be cool, too! Awesome entry, I love it! :D
Fun to play. Love this retro style
I really like how satisfying the sound and fire effects are. The text is a bit hard to read but thats all part of the aesthetic. Really cool stuff.
I thought about making a new font for this game, or maybe custom text to make it easier to read. I may do it in an after jam update.
Super fun. Especially when you whip around and wipe out a cluster of bombs before thrusting off at full speed
Super fun! and pretty hard! I got passed hard mode but just barely!
Thanks for the feedback! I liked making this game a lot because it has a high skill ceiling. For example I know some tricks are possible but after a few hour I still can't pull them off consistently.
