sweet I can finally comment now! Your game is pretty awesome and takes full advantage of the theme! I also enjoy the whole aesthetic of it. I can definitely see this as a mobile and or a Nintendo switch eshop title. Hope to see more updates soon!
Thank you for the kind words! I am happy to hear you liked the whole aesthetic, we really wanted to achieve something without artists on our team so we took full advantage of all of unity's bells and whistles. And we are hoping to port a mobile and mac version soon! Just have mid terms around this time.
Simple idea but very fun! Great effects and visual also
Thank you!
At first I didn't think much of the gameplay as I wasn't sure you could do much with it, but later I realized that it is actually lots of fun and the cool thing about it is that you can choose to be slower and build up your skill or you can choose to go super fast and earn a lot of score, so it kinda balances itself. The game wasn't hard to understand, but I'd love a more intractable tutorial. I mean the video looks cool and well put together, but for example I had to watch it multiple times as I didn't catch up to its speed at first. Needless to say, graphics look amazing and I love how you used some basic shapes to achieve this.
I am glad you realized this! I worked hard to make sure that both play styles were balanced. I will admit you can just play it slow and (probably) never die, but if you go fast you can reach the same score in half the time just with less risk. I agree with the tutorial! We added it very last second to the game after receiving playtesting feedback and seeing a lot of confusion. Thank you for your feedback!
Best game in the jam yet everything about it is amazing the gameplay is super satisfying the movements is smooth plus I faced no glitches/bugs at all which is super good for a game made in only 3 days. the graphics is AMAZING using neon lights for UI, player, enemies etc made the game look more beautiful more than it already is. you chose some of my favorite NCS music, definitely 5 stars for gameplay and music. just don't stop working on this project.
My highscore is 4025 try beating me :PP
I don't know if it is the BEST in the jam, everyone else has some great work too! But I am really flattered and glad you enjoyed it. We had a lot of friends playtest to help us find bugs and issues quickly so we're super thankful to them for their help. We worked really hard on the aesthetic and crafting the game to look just right. We will have reassess where we want to take this project but we are not done with it yet!
I would love to play the game if it was on a browser version. If you can please add one!
We plan on it! We would just have to peel back on some of the post-processing visual effects as that does not work with WebGL :( with the time constraint we have not gotten to it yet.
Ahhh I understand that there. Hopefully, after the jam or maybe during it, you could be able to add the browser form with no errors!
So fun! Love the floating cubes surrounding the level
Thanks! We worked hard on making them visualize audio.
Im not into rhythm games, but this one took me for long. Was really fun to play. Gonna wait for more levels / enemies
Thank you so much! Im glad you had fun! we have plans to add a lot more content in the future!
Really cool. The levels look very juicy and its a lot of fun to move around too. I thought I could button mash but that leaves too much to chance. Great game overall.
Thank you! And sometimes you gotta leave life to chance B)
Beautiful aesthetics! With a bit more variation in the gameplay/ enemy types, this could be really addicting!
Yesss a lot of room to build up from! Thank you!
Felt like I was playing Beat Saber my first go, and that's high parse from me
Thank you! We tried to make it a juicy as possible!
Visually stunning! good job
Thank you so much! - D
